And I would make sure I be there to here them singing and it was free. I met gerald Austin and I was so in love with him. Soooooooo much good Memories. I have all song. I have known Gerald from his early days in Henderson, NC, my cousin played Saxophone behind him in the old days. He is a very kind spirit. And so blessed vocally. The last time I met him was on Rockspring street in Henderson, visiting my cousin, 2013/2014 , same smile and same genuine personality.

This was entertaining and special to me. My bass-playin husband Jiggs and I would've stayed up all night singing and enjoying ourselves kissin n huggin and Laughin to these tunes till the sun peeped through the windows. He left last year to get his Eternal rest!
Saw this brother throw the microphone down one night in a club in Toledo and sing acapella and literally turned the place out! ..They have been underappreciated. Talent unlimited!

The Temptations have always been appreciated it's known by many ppl of their time how they could sing i saw them at 12 you old in concert from4th row seats on their 1st tour GORGEOUS GEORGE MC THEY recorded the LIVE!!! album we as a race of ppl knew them it was "crossover" ppl that were not on to them only song most knew was My Girl which was written by Sm okey Robinson for DAVID RUFFIN to record we as African Descdnt got blessed with the gift of singing EDDIE KENDRICKS LED OVER 85% OF THEIR RECORDS DAVID DID 60% PAUL WILLIAMS 70% IN THE ORIGINAL GROUP W MELVIN and Otis 10% They had been sent to be primarily background singers they did it well but All could lead if the writers wrote for them I'll never agree with TV 1 UNSUNG THEY WERE NOT!!! Known all around the world. They're not underrated just underpaid. These groups came up when labels stole the masters and all their royalties. They are legends.

I first met this outstanding group in Boston in a little club when I was 18. I fell in love with Gerald's voice and became a lifelong fan. I have played this video daily for almost a year. I can't get enough of his amazing smooth voice.
When I was station in Darmstadt Germany in 1976 the Manhattans came and the show was sold out and everyone were having a good time the floor was full with dancing. Man did I enjoy them. This is true music with a meaning. Keep singing Gerald.
