That’s right, Mary is here! My (Jason) mom has been on board before. She even transited the Panama Canal with us, but this time is special. This time its just her and us.
Join us in Tahiti as we pick up my momma then sail over to Moorea. It's about as perfect of a day as we've ever had. Perfect Wind. A stunning anchorage. Curious fish with lots of reef for snorkeling. AND our first Whale Sightings in French Polynesia.
That's right, the Humpback Whales have made their way up from Antarctica and they're ready to put on a show!

Your videos seem to be so short in length, but the truth is that they are so full of content and beauty that they just fly by.
Absolutely beautiful video and your narration at the end of the video concerning your Mum sharing life experiences is so incredibly nice.
My Mother passed almost 4 years ago and there's not a day goes by without me missing her.
Dad passed just before last Christmas and we miss him so much

All the fears that we were throwing our lives away by going cruising are put to rest when they experience first hand how awesome the Cruising Life is!
Rigging Doctor We have a boat on order to go cruising, my Mum is not in favour, doing it anyway. Would love to have the same experience as Jason did.
It works wonders to put them at ease :)

This location is paradise. Love the time you get to spend with your mom. Brought back memories of having my mom over for a few days at a time to our home. Times to cherish.

WOW! Almost always I am getting the chills while watching your videos. What a wonderful life you created for yourself, with hard work though. But the good times....there is nothing and nobody that can take that ever away from you. I was travelling a lot when I was young, don't have many pictures - in the 80's I was not so much into photography :( - the memories are burnt into my brain and don't fade. This video choked me up once in a while, you guys are amazing. Celebrate every single day that you are able to be with the person you love. Enjoy.
I had the need to travel when I was also young (in the 80's) and I'm glad I did.
Like you, my memories are the pictures in my mind and can not be erased until my mind is gone and then what would pictures do for me?
Plus our camera's were terrible back then.
The sunrises and sunsets move me the most.
I was in Hawaii at age 20 and will never forget the beauty.

Binge on, and thanks for being a part of the crew!! I don't think they've ever encountered orcas while aboard Curiosity. They've been sticking largely to tropical (warmer) waters where orcas are scarce.

Hi. Long time subscriber, first time commenter. Love seeing Jason and his mom’s close relationship. My oldest baby just turned 18 last month. I’ve been praying for his future wife since he was born. Hoping she’ll love our family as much as we plan to love her. I will be just like Jason’s mom. I would follow my boy to the ends of the earth. Hoping I get a sweet daughter-in-love like Nikki who will invite me in and let me continue to be an important part of my son’s life. Nikki, you rock. Jason, enjoy that special time with your mom. Up here in the PNW, i finally seen a pack of orca's swimming around. was great. In Everett, i was out in my boat and seen 3 greys diving next too a wreck, now that is awsum. What i learned is that if you shut down your sonar, they will hang out longer and play more. Once every one showed up pinging away they left. any how's glad that your mom showed up with you two. Hope you three had a great time together. You two are great and your site is nothing but the best. GREAT...

We watched Humbacks at Cable Beach, Broome, Western Australia, just watching them in the distance, the sound is amazing how loud it was, they were messaging each other as more arrived, everyone just stops and smiles and laughs, whales bring everyone together...

WOW! I’ve sailed with orcas in Puget Sound many times and dolphins in Florida, The Abacos, and St. Vincent and The Grenadines-it’s soooooo awe inspiring. Glad your Mom got to experience it, too!

Nikki, I loved the "steering by foot." I wish I could drive that way on the Dallas freeways. Jason, your mom is very cool. I bet your house was the one at which all the kids hung out after school. But I have a question...did you change an editing style or camera setting? Everything just seemed more...natural. I could just feel the warmth of the sun, the early morning humidity, the sense of excitement and once the whales appeared, the feeling of awe and wonderment of how great is Mother Nature!

Just wanted to say thanks for all these. We had a plan that started a little over a year ago to sell it all and cast off in our own sailboat. Watching all your videos and seeing the good and the bad with projects, personal challenges, and dedication to your goals really motivates us to stay on track. In the past year, we have sold the house, downsized into an RV, and just last week bought our beautiful 35.5 Endeavour we named Knot Vanilla. We found your channel and didn't even know you started in an RV until we started looking back.
We really hope to see you guys out there and share stories one day. We are sticking with our plan from watching chanels like these that keep it real...the good, and the bad.... Thanks for being our driving force behind our goals!! We hope to eventually be as creative and funny with our videos as you guys are. I am sure it will come with practice.
