I sat down for my Sunday morning coffee and saw you had posted your video. I grabbed my headphones and told my hubby, "excuse me while I go to French Polynesia with the Wynns. I'll be back soon". You have no idea how much I enjoy watching your videos every Sunday morning!!! Excellant video editing and music!

Been watching for months now, I admire your resolve and that you tell the truth about the fact it's not all beer and Skittles, ie take off the Rose tinted glasses and see it for real. You have shown us some beautiful places that i could never imagine and now would want to see. I wish you both the safest of life's journey's. Totally great stuff, thanks for sharing.

Nikki is beautiful, videos are done very well. I don't watch tv anymore just cruising videos. Many of them are done as good or better than tv shows. And much more entertaining. Good Job.

What a happy preview for next time. Mary’s coming! It’s always fun when she shows up. Thanks for sharing your cleaning cocktail. Thanks Agnes! Nikki is the Drone Artist and she's getting lots of practice here in French Polynesia :) Now we just need to upgrade our drone from the old Mavic to the new one...that would provide even more dramatic aerials.

@@gonewiththewynns This thing is amazingly good and small, love the Mavic Pro (#1), used it in a few of my videos. That new Mavic Pro with the 1-inch sensor (non-zoom) looks very yummy though 😄

@@@gonewiththewynns I have to agree, y'all have some of the best drone footage I've seen on any sailing channel. Great job Nikki!! Without giving away all your secrets, I'm just curious is all your footage hand flown or are you using either geo-fencing or follow me modes?

    • @davidturner8301
      @davidturner8301 5 ปีที่แล้ว

@@corvairchris82 I'd say mostly hand flown (used to show a cut of Nikki before some footage etc) though there are some follow me modes used when powering on their dingie. There are def some useful geo location sequencing options with today's higher end drones

I can’t get enough of you two! I have been watching many couples but you two are very engaging and both outgoing with the videos and life revolving your videos. Usually one or the other are more into life in front of the camera but I feel you both enjoy doing this. Tomorrow is predicted to be -32 and that’s not the windchill temps either. Thanks for what you do! You made my bone chilling nights more worthwhile.

I just wanted to say that I agree with your outlook on the feeding of the rays and sharks. I too am torn. I understand that in many places around this world this is their definition of sustaining wildlife through tourism. I just wish they would make sure that their practices are truly protecting the animals and the area. Also, once again you have created a beautiful video. I don't want to criticize other bloggers but most of them should watch your videos as well as Delos, and La Vagabond to see how to get this right. You have just the right amount of talking and not talking, if you get my drift. Beautiful pictures and great story content. You guys rock!

Sometimes I am tempted to comment and suggest to Jason to not spend so much time editing and catch up closer to real time, but then he produces this extremely entertaining episode that makes it worthwhile to wait. Hey Jason and Nikki, Always enjoy following your adventures with Cleo & Singa on Curiosity. I love your adventurist spirit and desire to explore. :) I have one little observation that comes from a generation older than you two as I’m 55. Enjoy the moment! Don’t overthink the experiences you’re blessed to have or you will miss a piece of the joy of life. There are bound to be places where people/tourist like yourselves will have some impact but they’re just trying to explore, enrich and enjoy also. Observing their experiences can enrich your own? This great big world God gave us to explore is big enough for all to have an enriched experience and due to the size of earth, we really have little impact. So I leave you with this thought because it has enriched my life. I love watching others enjoying experiences and dreams while it happens and as they enjoy it. See the looks on their faces, hear the laughs and the excitement in their voices as they see a shark or touch a stingray for the first time. I think sometimes we’re all pressured by some to regret the impact humans have on earth instead of understanding the balance and the efforts we all make to minimize that footprint. Wishing you continued safe travels, great memories and amazing adventures!

I really appreciate how you guys acknowledged how out of the norm the swimming with sharks and rays was. I know they aren't trained or abused but you're so right the feeding them changes their natural instincts and that feels wrong. People dont understand how animal adventures overseas are more often than not terrible for the animals they're trying to enjoy. I'm just grateful you said it.

Your observations and description expressed our thoughts exactly. We were discussing during the video our discomfort but enjoying the beauty. You have the luxury of looking for and finding mostly undisturbed nature through your extended travels that most tourists do not. Since we are in the latter category, we see through your eyes nature and places that tourists rarely see. Thank you.

Back in the eighties, I sailed a lot between Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the rest of the Caribbean. Even at that time, cruising consisted of a constant search for areas not frequented by tourist operators. If you are cruising to an area for the first time, it is inevitable to visit areas of interest to tourists but like you did at the end, finding the pristine desolated landscape is always the best part of the trip. It was great to see a cruising couple so proud of their boat.

Some channels try to click bait you in, which can leave you a little annoyed and it can also be so frustrating. I’ve been watching the Wynn’s from way back when, along with so many others viewers, when they was educating us all about the RV world. However, this couple are on a whole different level ‘Class bait’ for sure! A winning formula, thanks guys. 💕

When I was 12 years old (I'm 45 now) my family spent a week at a resort in that exact location you were in towards the end of the video. Could be internet, but I think you're being modest. Guys, this was a really, really good video...Dang wish I were the other sailors that ran into you, I cook some amazing seafood... but I'm still doing the RV thing you got me into in the first place, two years now..You know, having those 'petting zoo' areas are not a bad thing. It educates people on various animals or fish, provides income for the locals, etc..there are so very many habitats, that are protected just for that reason, untouched by man, I don't think we'll collapse the ecosystem in that regard. Back home in FL now for the winter! Vlogging the good stuff. Cheers, (thanks for the heart Nikki/Jason! ) :) Be safe

You guys are amazing. I too had mix emotions as well about feeding sharks and sea rays. I guess it’s one way to get people up close with the sea life. Thanks for sharing your life with us truly amazing thanks

I love your perspective on leaving the wildlife alone. To many tourists will change the behavior or the wildlife and it’s all for a few dollars

I recently found out about this channel from the Alaska trip. Ever since I saw that video, I looked at all of your other ones and found the sailing videos. I think it took me about 3 to 4 weeks to go through all of your sailing videos (from ever since you were looking for what boat to buy, until now), and I liked all of them. I can't wait to see what other adventures you will share with us. Keep up the good work!

I’m with you regarding the commercialization of feeding the sharks and rays. Too many uncontrollable variables... whereas your spot outside of the crowd is my choice as well. Great location. 👍🇺🇸😎🥇
