@38:50 Cul de Canard means duck’s butt in French. Ducks have oil glands there that make these particular feathers great for dry flies when dressed with that same oil.

I like to know there are pro tiers like you who break their thread twice in the bottom half...makes me feel like a little less of doofus when I do it 6 times on a bugger! 😂 On all seriousness, as soon as finances permit I will be getting materials and attempting my first classic soon! Your videos are great, when I hear trucks go by and no background music it makes feel more real. I hope your health is OK, I've seen on some forums what your challenges are, my wife has chronic health issues as well...We're all in this together and none of us are alone...You rock Rich!!!
Yeah It was a small worry moment. I still wound up changing out the throat for another guinnea feather off camera. I just didn't like the first throat.
