That’s a well done animation. My best guess is he got a shot of him doing a small jump and made it much longer, which is still impressive to make it look that good.
Figured. That's like a 5 meter drop with the skater absorbing the entire force with just his legs. There's just no way this could end as well as it did in the clip.

I absolutely love these videos. The physics to skating still blows my mind. It's almost like witchcraft and sorcery. I can just about ollie! And what's even more incredible is seeing people with one or no legs skating and landing tricks. Just shows that they are unstoppable and won't let that prevent them from skating. Amazing!
Back when my only interaction with skateboarding was through video games, I remember watching things like this and thinking "this isn't that impressive, my character can do way cooler things.". Now I've started skating myself, and I'm in awe at everything I see.

I can do a grand total of 0 of these tricks(prolly cuz I've never picked up a skateboard a day in my life). But fr the sheer amount of skill, patience and balls you need to do these blows my mind. Man I've been watching the world get better for years but my bag stays full of the same tricks. Gonna have to start watching some TH-cam tutorials or something.
FS flips, varial heels, and the occasional Impossible are nothing nowadays and my knees/ankles are too shot to go big off anything anymore.
Still feels good to hop on the ol' shred sled and bust kickflips in the park. But the falls hurt a lot more than they did a decade ago though.
