Yeah, you are supposed to use two fingers to make it sound right... You just have to get fast and start with the bass and not with a guitar first as it ruins bass players. Bass is a whole other animal. Your right hand is just as, if not more important than your left. Once you master two fingers three fingers is easier to learn.... It turns into.. WOW this is easy.... Too easy and you go back to two fingers most times lol.

I was fortunate enough to see Iron Maiden last August before this Covid bullshit started. You really have to see them live to understand how talented each person in this band really is, Steve Harris especially. There are a lot of great metal bands but Iron Maiden are just on another level talent wise.

The way you play directly impacts the sound coming out. I'd need to see how you play to get a better idea. Still, you can also lean on your gear in case you need to compensate (not ideal but still an option)

Kello ,you ever play or own anything from Suzuki? No not Yamaha,i do mean Suzuki, if not ,find an SB 10 P bass and check it out,awesome basses by a company not known for music,they where popular in school music programs. I found one at my local shop a few years back,looks very similar to the bass your playing here,thats what made me think of asking you(other than the fact im looking at it,lol).

Im currently rebuilding the one i have,waiting for the pots and cap to come,so i have the input jack hot wired into the pick ups,and dude im seriously considering leaving it just the way it is,the tone from the stock Suzuki pick-ups is killer metal tone,theres like a steely kind if twang mixed in to P bass growl,im at least saving the stock pups for another project,but yea bro make it a priority to find one, they're definitely over looked,underrated P basses
