@ if you draw a line across the mounting bracket, when you attach the GoPro the next time, it will help you find the same exact angle you were at previously.

I like to use a screw driver to tighten the bolt on the GoPro mount. This will make sure you it doesn’t move. Also, make sure your chest mount it as tight as possible!
swap to LINEAR or WIDE instead of superview - superview@60fps always overheats ive noticed....if its still an issue, try reducing to 4k 30fps but linear should do it
For anyone wondering, you can lock the orientation of your GoPro while filming. I have it locked upside down so I don’t need to rotate the footage after the fact!
@@MTBCoop How would you recommend rotating the video and saving it after the fact? I did horizon lock before filming and now have upside down videos that won't save as flipped right side up.
He is talking about where the mount and go pro slides inbetween. So whenever you get the right filming angle put a straight line across where you attach the mount and gopro so whenever you need the right film angle you just need to line it back up with the lines you put down.
I had to make sure to tighten the chest mount as much as possible. You will also notice GoPro stabilization is reduced in low light. What GoPro do you use?

GoPro Chest Mount vs. Chin Mount: th-cam.com/video/K0pedGm9Wo0/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for this to I have been trying to find the right angle for so long!
Upside down is genius! I will do this today
Glad you found it useful! Let me know how it works out for you!
Also flip the camera recording to be upside down, so you dont have to flip the video in post
Thanks so much I am trying to start a channel and when I used the chesty mount it pointed at the ground the whole time so this will help alot
thats a good tips!!
Didn’t know about the upside down trick. Now I can film more than my down tube and knees! Thanks for the tips!
The marker tip 100% genius
I’m not understanding the marker part
@ if you draw a line across the mounting bracket, when you attach the GoPro the next time, it will help you find the same exact angle you were at previously.
@ Thanks that was thinking too 😀
love the pen idea
Great tip. Thank you 👏👏
These are the settings that redbull themselves use!!!!
GoPro 12, ND32, 1/60s Shutter, 4k 30 fps, ISO Max 200
Depends entirely on conditions
whats nd32 mean?

Thoughts on using this for vertical content?
100% works for vertical content too! I prefer the chin mount now though.
Marker tip! Genius! thanks.
Love you videos! Thanks for the kind words!
The last tip is Gold 🫶
This only work on blue trails. When it getting rowdy. It shakes way to mutch. Full face chinmount is the way.
I agree chin mount is better, but the Chesty holds up okay with the hypersmooth on the GoPro!
What type of chest mount do u have
Ik this video was a while ago but I got a go pro for Christmas and this is so helpful thank you
y'all get GoPros as a gift!? , i get photo frames and lunch boxes every birthday goddamit!
The Last is the ground why i use the dji Osmo Action 3
Magnetic mount is CLUTCH!
Do GoPro come with a mount
could this akso work for horse riding?
How to get the go pro videos to your phone
How is it so stable
Which mount do you suggest for mountain hiking brother?
I would suggest just grabbing a small GoPro Shorty tripod to work with!

What are some alternatives to gopro, which coat at least $400+? I bought a $60 Campark & it's pretty terrible.
action 3 is like 170
I like this video😁
The marker ? Why ? I don’t understand haha
What is last tip?can anyone explain?
Basically, if you want to get the exact position every time you put on your gopro, you line up the marker writing that you made.
Did you record 4K footage or 2K, my Go Pro 10 goes too hot when recording 4K and auto shutdown.
I shoot in 4K! No overheating issues on my GoPro Hero 8! Makes me worried to get a new GoPro!
swap to LINEAR or WIDE instead of superview - superview@60fps always overheats ive noticed....if its still an issue, try reducing to 4k 30fps but linear should do it
Does this work with fishing too
Buy the max lens mod. Best for mtb
I’ve actually not been a fan of it! I like filming in 8:7 so I can crop to 16:9 or 9:16 in post production
@@MTBCoop if you get a vertical mount for the gopro & a max lens mod it looks incredibly good. Very nice field of view and very fpv look
Nice I will try this on my mini Bike Honda Grom just street cruising 😅🏍️
if this upside down position, so when you edit ur video, must be rotate always ?

Yes, this is what im looking for. No more filming the ground🤣. Like and subscripe.

But does this chest mount stable, actually mine im facing chest not stable so video also bit shaky after boost stability

Use Stuntman Chest Mount. No shake compared to GoPro chest mount.

Why does the J hook look like that, mine look slit different, they’re my sisters from a long time ago (hero 4 time)
I just got it on the helmet under the visor and it is way better view and don’t need to be wearing extra stuff.
I am 100% sold on the chin mount!
Where did u mark with the marker
I don't have a specific place to recommend! I'd recommend you find what field of view you like and then make the mark. Hope that helps!
how to shoot vertical videos? I have this mount and a hero10
How do you get 4:5 for Instagram without filming vertical? I have hero9
How much is that
where did you mark the film angle? sorry it was hard to see
Great question! I’d recommend playing around until you find the angle you prefer. Once you find that don’t hesitate to make your mark!
Guys if you are gonna get one then please know if you fall it will break your ribs
Broke off didn't happen to me.
what if I wanna do this with my phone
I marked the wrong angle and now get the wrong angle every time😢
Im sorry, but can you stream instagram with this camera?
Yes! You can live stream with the Hero 8!
But what about the mic ?
Awesome. I don't use gopro as the workflow in editing is hard. In premier.
Why not just helmet chin mount
Why? Why u need go pro instead 360 who have flipable led screen😊
🎉👍
I haven’t seen no one use this at the universal studios or Disney land
