    TLDL: k-soul is fatphobic, has done culture appropriation, fakes his age, tried to pressure Kaeden into doing a sexy concept, being egocentric, being disrespectful to members/contestants/mentors, likening k-pop fans to DV victims, and being a snitch which is why people don’t like him

      While you are in charge of destroying Ksoul again, he is working hard for his family to pay for his care of his father who had cancer and he is not interested in your opinions as long as he shows that he is a good son for his mother and good brother for little sister so you are the worst people for continuing to hate a person who lost his dad

      @@berthajanethgonzalesticlla1727 first of all, stop commenting multiple times if you’re just gonna say the same thing over and over again. Second, I am not in charge of his hate campaign for making a video compiling all of his actions. I am EDUCATING PEOPLE on what’s happening with my opinions being on the back burner. Third of all, like I said, him caring for his family doesn’t absolve him of responsibility. He is still disrespectful and continues to act like he deserves the spotlight 24/7. Most of these situations could’ve been completely avoidable if he just didn’t care about everyone looking at him. In that same vein, weaponizing his father’s death to try and guilt trip people says more about you than it does me. Lastly, I didn’t make this video for him. I made this video for Kpop Stan’s who are interested and learning about why people don’t like him. I couldn’t care less if he doesn’t care about my opinions because, again, I don’t make my opinions for him

    This just further proves kpop idols are just people, and people aren't always good, and we don't actually know anything about them just because they CHOOSE to be a certain way on camera. This dude just isn't hiding it. Which isn't okay, that he is this kind of a person, but it's time to not hold these people on golden padestal because they don't owe us being perfect/good people. I never got into the show Fantasy Boys came from nor the group much themselves but I kept seeing KSoul tweets and looked into it. It's baffling to me tbh. The guy has nothing better to do than to talk shit about another idol, be fatphobic, etc? I also looked up member profiles and I think if I were to be a fan of the group, Wooseok would be my bias. He 100% has the resemblance to Kino and reminds me a bit of a Manhwa character.

  • @softharutofu
    @softharutofu 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +19

    A lot of the sources I've seen about Ksoul not getting along with other members completely edit out he was nice to anyone. If you see the uneditted lives he has with the members he's kind and civil with them. Let's not act like we haven't seen evil editting before. Ksoul actually brought this up ON THE SHOWThe mentors and other contestants agreed about the evil editting and made jokes about it.
    I agree that he's made fatphobic comments, and I don't agree that that's right (as a fat person), I just don't understand why other contestants like Ling Qi, Sungmin, and Yuma, who have also made similar comments about weight, don't get anywhere near the same hate, if not praise (namely Sungmin).
    I don't understand why the age thing is such a scandal. We know how ageist Korea is (hence the plastic surgery and debuting minors). Alexia Demie (American Actress) did the exact same thing but didn't get DEATH THREATS for it.
    The ENTIRE point of competition shows is to market yourself. Contestants need to make themselves stand out/better than others to get voted into the final line-up. It's kinda badass seeing someone who isn't in constant censoring of himself, he made his personality unable to be editted out, like a lot of the other contestants have been.
    I'm not fully educated on some of the other topics in this video.
    It's just frustrating when you see other idols getting away with the same things (Jisung of NCT constantly making fatphobic comments, MAMAMOO doing literal blackface, Bora and Hyolyn of SISTAR faking their ages) as KSoul, but being brushed under the rug.
    I've seen fans interact with him and he's very sweet to them the members. They have definitely gotten closer and more comfortable with each other since debut.

      Professionalism and Evil Editing aside, he was still rude and stuck up. You can’t edit someone being egocentric and you can’t edit someone being disrespectful to mentors. And in lives, they HAVE to act cool with one another because of their idol image. Like I said in another comment, you can be associated with people even after you are rude to them but that doesn’t make what you said any less disrespectful. Also like I said, I’m not saying that they aren’t cool with each other but I’m also not not saying that because at the end of the day, I have no idea. I can only form opinions about things I do know and speculate on the rest. As for the thing about other idols, I don’t agree. Jisung has been dragged through the mud and back for his Fatphobia, Mamamoo has been called out and criticized for their blackface, and I can’t really say anything about the SISTAR stuff because at the end of the day, I don’t think faking your age is a big deal. I even explicitly stated that I think it is a silly reason to dislike someone while also stating that I don’t agree with it personally speaking. What these other idols have done don’t absolve K-soul whatsoever because at the end of the day they have all been called out and dragged for what they did and rightfully so. Also, he obviously acts nice towards the people who support him because they like him. He is nasty to people he doesn’t agree with and goes to lengths to say or do the most disrespectful thing he can think of. Likening the people who like the idol who went out with his girlfriend to DV victims but turning around and being nice to his fans shows what type of person he is to me

Don’t create issues where there aren’t any. „He doesn’t care about Kaedan‘s feelings“… go watch their lives. Idk if you know this but Hikari and Wooseok are Japanese and Korean respectively. While Pig Baby might mean one thing in one language, it comes across as disrespectful in other languages. Also, even if that was the case, it doesn’t erase him telling Wooseok he would look more handsome if he lost chin fat. And just because they act alright now doesn’t mean he didn’t disregard Kaeden’s feelings then. He knows that Kaeden was (and is) a minor, and yet continued to try and get him to do Ko Ko Bop even after he stated he wasn’t comfortable because he is 13. I think you think that there can’t be conflicts between people + that idols don’t have to put up a front. I’m not saying they aren’t cool with each other, but I’m also not not saying that they are. @@seokayn then why did you bring the age thing up as a point for your video attacking him? You literally just called him sketchy for doing it! It's not CA to wear braids in your hair. Are you suggesting Bobby from Ikon is also guilty of CA? Just because he is asian does not mean he is not allowed to wear braids! To say otherwise is literally racism. For the record I watched the show & yes he does have a lot of issues, but voicing your opinion as fact is a bit low.

      @@alanfitzgerald6567 what if I told you this video isn’t attacking him 😳 this video is me explaining what he did and interjecting my opinion about an objectively shitty person. I included it in the video because it was relavent to the situation (it got a lot of ppl mad, i didn’t and don’t care about it but still included it because it was a topic of conversation) which I explained at the very beginning of that section of the video. As for the CA, yes Bobby is guilty of that and it isn’t racist to say. It’s ignorant to continue to take and take from a different culture, especially when you live in a country where black propel (the culture that’s being appropriated) are demeaned and treated as less than other people. Lastly, I’m not stating my opinion as fact, I’m stating fact as fact. You wanna tell me that I’m doing that, meanwhile you’re trying to show that your (irrelevant) opinion is fact when it isn’t. You can’t come for me when you’re attempting to do the same thing, it’s hypocritical. If you wanna comment, I don’t care, but at least watch my video first before you try and make me seem bad or him any good. Kpop Stan’s need to stop D-riding shitty people in the industry and start get their moral compasses in check.

    As a chinese person, I still agree with you. Although calling someone "pig" could mean cutie is chinese, he is literally on a korean survival show wanting to debut in korea, so theoretically he should've done more research about the korean culture and language so he doesn't make any unnecessary mistakes. You choose who you want to be, post trauma and childhood trauma could have an effect on one's personality, but in the end you choose how you behave, how you talk, how you treat others. It's quite sad knowing that a chinese person would do something like this...

      none of these are “hyped up” and especially not the CA. Koreans appropriating black culture has been a topic of conversation for YEARS because of how racist Korea and a lot of Asia is to black people. You don’t care because it doesn’t affect you. And, no, appropriating a culture, joking about people’s weight, changing your age, likening ppl to DV victims, and trying to get a minor to do a sexy concept after he said he doesn’t want to is not signs of abuse nor trauma. It’s severely annoying how you weaponize his family/father’s death against people who criticize him as if that’s going to automatically erase what he did. What he has done has nothing to do with his father’s death, and I don’t feel bad for criticizing him because of that.
