- In this video we are going to talk about some groups that I have covered on my channel before. I’m here to provide to updates about Saturday, Alice, Dreamnote and The Rose. Please tell me all your thoughts in the comments down below.

Further Updates about ALICE
May 3rd, Do-A shared posted on Instagram that her exclusive contract with IOK had come to an end.
Also May 3rd Yukyung said that her contract had also ended
Also on May 3rd, Karin posted a farewell message onto Bubble, saying that her contract had expired
Yeonje also shared that she had also left IOK
It is assumed that the group is disbanded or in the process of disbanding. As for ChaeJeong and EJ, there is no update so far. However since they joined in 2020, their contracts probably haven’t ended yet
Another update: IOK announced that Alice was releasing a new single called Milky Way on May 13th. It’s not clear if this is a single with all the members, or just the remaining two
What sucks is that (from what I heard) Milky Way is their disbandment album
Like for me Sohee leaving Alice will be kinda of the equivalent if Seolhyun would've left AOA.

I think that you were right to worry about The Rose in the moment because it wasn't looking good but I don't think there is any need to worry about them now they are doing really well for themselves now and I can only see them going up from here

I know Dreamnote for Ghost ? ... so Im kinda sad they didn't have more songs like it, its so good!
I'm so sad about Alice - "Dance On" has been stuck in my head all this weekend. I'm also worried about Saturday and that game looks very creepy. I don't want to see the girls being used like that, it's so gross. Can you do a similar video for groups like iChillin as well? From what it seems, the might be disbanding depending on their latest comeback.
Dance On is one of my favourite pick me up songs ever. Their career over all is just so heartbreaking. And I can definitely look into iChillin
My biggest concern for DreamNote is their lack of artistic consistency. While “Lemonade” was received well, it threw everyone off that they made a 180 from songs like “Wish” to “Ghost” and then another 180 to “Lemonade”. Everyone was expecting their rebrand to be like Dreamcatcher’s. I think their company needs to decide what direction they want to take things in and stick with that. We’ve seen how inconsistency hinders artists (just look at Red Velvet and Itzy compared to Blackpink, Twice, Aespa, IVE, and NewJeans). Pink Fantasy got away with it for songs like “Lemon Candy” because once they gave us “Poison”, they stuck with that horror theme. I just want DN to have some consistency. So glad they’re still going though! Boni’s injury scared me because I was getting flashbacks to SeeA rib injury before what would become Pink Fantasy’s last comeback… I hope DN’s next comeback is a smash!

Verivery is also a group I'm worried about
Idk if you know them but currently 2 members are on hiatus (Minchan since almost a year and a half) and there is almost no activity since their last comeback and since EVNNE debuted

@@gwenmloveskpopcecmore It's so frustrating because Verivery is one of my favorite groups. They are so funny and they have so much potential but the company is kinda ruining them ╥﹏╥

At this point I'm scared to get into EVNNE because there's a very noticable pattern of how groups get treated under Jellyfish
It's such a shame for these groups they could've been very big if it wasn't for Jellyfish Entertainment
Jellyfish did the same to Gugudan when Verivery debuted, literally just a few days after their debut the company told the Gugudan members that there was no need for them to return, and now from what I see they are doing something similar with Verivery. Jellyfish is absolute trash!
Doa just confirmed on Instagram her contract expired and she left alice, so its safe to say Yeonjae left as well :(
I just learned about the marriage this morning and had to check about Elris' status. With her and Doa(Bella) 's disappearance, who else is even remotely popular in this group so they can stay afloat :(
It sucks to even say it but I agree. I hate when groups are just known for some member but it does help, and when the “most popular” member leaves, it’s just a big worry. Plus, her contract was coming to an end so I assume the other girls contact is also ending

Im not that familiar with any of these groups but at least from what I heard, Sohee was Alice's most popular member. Im not sure how they can get back from that if their company isn't... well, at least decent I guess.
Unfortunately Alice is pretty much done. Yeah I know most people who only keep up with the popular acts I mean The Rose is also a bit popular now but not too popular for everyone to know

I've been a fan of Elris since Jackpot era, Saturday during Bbyong era and Dreamnote since Hakuna Matata era. It's so sad seeing groups i love slowly fading away from the industry
I'm so sad about Saturday, Alice and Dreamnote, all of them have so much talent and amazing discographies only to be let down by their companies 😔
my gut tells me iok is gonna add some members to alice and they’ll have one comeback before ej and chae’s contacts expire and then disband. i don’t know what the best outcome we can hope for is but i hope the best for all the girls and hope they don’t all leave the industry completely bc they’re so talented

Damn I didn't know that The Rose went through all of that, I only really heard of them from their recent successful album. They have one of the most improbable successful returns i've ever heard of in kpop, because a less popular group coming back from a messy legal battle is 90% sure sign that they'll be disbanded in the next year or two.
i remember when dance on dropped it was such a huge and happy day for nugudom… i’m so sad time went by so fast and now their contracts are expiring and we still haven’t heard from doa and yeonje ever since… and now with the news of sohee’s future :(
it was announced recently im pretty sure that alice is disbanding. super unfortunate because i thought with the new company thta they would have a brighter future:(
I talk about it in the video. And no no announcement yet. SoHee is leaving the group and the other girls contracts are also coming to an end soon, but no information has been given besides the confirmation that SoHee was in fact leaving and getting married

i've got bad news for yall regarding alice
They might be a tricky group to look into considering Vlive is no longer around and they are definitely not as known as all the groups you have covered thus far but I was wondering if you would be interested in covering a group called Like A Movie? What has happened to them overall is quite interesting, especially from a foreigners POV as there isn't much translation available. They have gone through some member changes due to shocking reasons. Only one of the now former members Domo kind of made it into the news for trying to evade military service. A lot of us unfortunately did unstan due to Domo's statement but that doesn't mean we aren't curious about how this all lead up to happen.
I don’t feel the need to worry about groups that are either bands or have producers within the group. In my opinion, the main thing that companies provide that artists may not is the music itself. Groups that change companies or can’t find new ones only have themselves to rely on for the music. And if they don’t know anything about writing, producing, composition, etc., then they’re basically doomed.
So yeah, I always figured that The Rose would still be able to create music and that would open up opportunities for them regardless of if they had a company behind them or not.

both alice and saturday being my two utl groups of all time, as a blris and sunday its been not easy and it just makes me so so sad all their time together and hardwork for all these years is just being thrown away by useless companies who are not even able to properly update us, fans. it is so upsetting and dont get me started about the line-up changes, members suddenly missing, long hiatuses and both groups transferring to both companies for nothing.
iirc yeonje got a little attention for being caught clubbing?? idk if it was actually her but it was mostly negative attention and it happened before she and doa went on hiatus
But yeah, as someone mentioned below, VeriVery. Im a former fan of theirs but from what I've heard, their current situation could be better. Way too many groups like these... sadly :/
Yeah cough EVNNE is the reason for their hiatus (no hate cus I Stan them) and I think Minchan is unofficially out of the group

As for Minchan, it wouldn't surprise me, he did have multiple hiatuses and such.... I guess we will see.

I have been worrying about Alice, Saturday and DreamNote for so many months now.
The whole Alice situation is not only anger inducing but also so frustrating and sad, it's wild. I remember the moment I heard the whole group was able to leave their shitty company and go into another one- I was so excited. Just for the company to be the exact same if not worse.
I also don't get why Saturday's company wouldn't make a billion posts and hype their performances in Japan up? Do they not want money or fame? It's so weird. And the whole novel thing... Don't even get me started.
For DreamNote and The Rose I just hope the best and that they do more and continue to be active, especially DN. I really liked Lemonade and at the moment who knows what their next concept will be.
Yea, Saturday and Alice are some of my favourite groups but with the lack of any content it’s hard… and same I was over the moon when it was announced that they were moving to IOK.. it’s just a shame it kind of went down hill so fast. As for the Japanese shows that Saturday is doing, I have no idea. I’ve seen photos from the shows, it’s not like it’s a full house. I genuinely don’t get it.

I do understand the issue however I focus on small/Nugu groups that are being mismanaged or mistreated.

I did yes. The situation with Cherry Bullet makes me boil with anger

Isn't it kind of ironic using unis's mv considering your content? I'm asking this genuinely, why are you showing support to a group that debuted a literal 12 yr old?
Just because they used them as background visuals doesn't mean they support them? It's legit visuals, you cannot assume
I used UNIS due to the context of what I was talking about, as one of their members was in Good Day and is in Cignature. Also, yes I have issues with minors in KPOP don’t get me wrong. But the issues I focus mostly on my channel is when those minors are abused, mistreated or s**ually exploited for money. From what I know, UNIS has not had any claim of that so far. But again that doesn’t mean I support the idea of having such a young girl in the group

I hate to say it but I think Alice and Saturday should disband. They just aren't getting the proper treatment to succeed.
As for Dreamnote, their last comeback was really good lemonade is on my Spotify playlist. Though with how catchy it is I'm surprised the company didn't try to capitalise on the english version especially with summer around the corner. I do see the members on TH-cam from time to time but hopefully there next release is well timed due to many girl groups debuting or making comebacks.
I believe The Rose is doing fine for now but will see what the future holds.
