I used this technique on my v-part wig with little leave-out and OMG the results... FLAWLESS. Looks natural. I put my 4 twist in, tie it down and flawless again the next morning.
Does this work even in very humid weather? I’m in Texas
@@HolisticDramaFree the humidity was not my friend at all. My natural hair is thick and it poofed up and it was noticeable.
Did you sew down your v-part wig? And if you did, how is it being sewn? I want to sew down my v part wig but afraid it will cause to much tension around my perimeter 😭

I wish I could do big and messy. My hair is cruly but fine. Back in the day (2000s), I had the 808 cruly extensions that matched my hair perfectly. I didn't know you could reuse hair and it always hurts to know how impossible it is to find long, cruly and fine hair.

When wearing extensions like I tip or tape ins can you wash your hair like normal? Like cleanse your scalp and natural hair? I wash my hair once per week and have a very strict hair routine that I stick to and it involves me touching my hair at least 3x per week with one wash day. Would I be able to carry out my regular routine for the most part while wearing itips microlinks or tape ins?

I wonder how it would be if you skip the flexi rods and just twist up your hair with the extensions.
What about blending the colors? My hair is a 2 but the bundle is slightly 1.

How many inches is the hair?
I have the opposite problem my hair is too kinky, coily , curly for the the types of curly weave I wear like this exotic curl
You can still achieve the look. I have similar hair to you 4b/4c. What I do is flat twist out the leave out forward so the ends are towards my face/forehead. Don't use heavy products and make sure you test out your gel/foam/cream/oil combo..etc by rubbing it in your hands with a lil water to see if it stays white. If it does its not a good combo and will likely make your twist out stiff and with white flakes. I find homemade flaxseed gel with a few drops of light oil gives the best results. And if you want your curls defined use a small perm rods on the mid to end of the twist out and either air dry or sit under a dryer for a more defined shiny look.
Is that heat damage or relaxer? You said your natural hair is straight but the roots are puffy and curly with straight ends...

Wild Hair Grow will grow the edges back. My neighbor - we are oldies, over.processed her hair to near baldness she began using Wild Grow and voila 18mths later her twists are dangling in her shoulder. That compelled moi to try it on.my edged and the top thin center back voila it's grown thickened in a few mth and I have not been able to be diligent about treating it. Wee baby hairs are actually returning to my edged. An incompetent cos left a perm.in too.long.

Ok so sorry if this is a stupid question, but would this work on relaxed hair? I have a lot of new growth and I’m serious considering going natural again, but I’m not ready for a big chop. I also don’t want to have to straighten my new growth everyday to get it to blend in until it’s long enough.
Yes many people use curlers or braid outs as they transition textures. For many it’s easier than a big chop
