Girl no, my mama and my aunties have no edges at all.
Idk cause I come from the generation where micros was the style back in the day and babbbyyyyyy sometimes Id lose an entire micro braid from my edges.
I love this but these thin edges ain’t gonna cut it😢
You could try to leave out a little more and see the tracks toward your face to see if that will help
