Basically a brand new D9N 6XJ, These will sell like hot cakes. Only a matter of time before they do this with the D10 series, a new 3SK, Something a mechanic can work on, not a technician. Not everyone wants or needs all those electronics. Well done Cat.
6:07 On my model of the D9 the tag link is pushing the whole blade to the left, when the shield is raised... Why is this not a problem on the real machine?
I understand what cat is trying to do, but why not put the tiller steering in it? Tiller steering has been around for almost 30 years. That’s a big negative in my opinion
Tier 1 engine is only available for none regulated EPA countries, also it is just the same as the original D8L, not sure what the deal is to mention, now available with a $20 dollar strobe light !
I didn’t watch the complete video but does he mention this is only available in non regulated countries? This is a teaser for NA. Will never be sold here unless resold as a gray market..
Why so few full U blades are seen anymore? I ran D-9 g's and h's with U blades they were very much superior than SU. They scoured better and much greater capacity etc;
8:40 did he say that’s a Tier 1 engine?…so no emissions?…it looked like it had old school injectors in it…no common rail!..it even has the big throttle leaver of the older R’s…that dozer is straight out of the 90’s!..
A lot of useless info here. Iv been running D9’s for last 21 years. 1 R model, 2 T models, 1 POS kamatsu d275 and now the new D9. Haven’t run the D9 yet waiting for U blade to get here. So that’s 5 new machines ! Crushed rock stock piles, crushing 2400 tons per hour. The R model was is the king. That said the new 9 should be better then the T’s. We see ! I’d like cat to put together a stock pile special. U blade max counter weights and at least 113,000 lbs operating weight with 500-550 hp

Hi

Is this a new machine with old school controls? Someone help me out here.
New d9 here in us.replaced a d9r with the 3408 like this d9gc.the u.s.spec has a c18.nowhere near as much power as my old 9r.not good
Just been on a 25 yr old D9R. At least that one had differential steering. That this “new” machine doesn’t have one is unbelievable…

Clutch steering!?
Why not put the tiller steering in a “New” dozer?
It look like an interior straight out of a 9L.
With a tier 1 engine is this new dozer available for sale in North America ???
One day I'm going to have a reason to buy one a D9, and a place to keep it.
I say the same thing!😂 would I need it? No, do I want one anyways? Yes
That cab is straight out of the 90's. Why haven't the D9's been updated with the new controls and cab?
It’s a GC machine. They don’t come with all the modern bells and whistles.
@@cl7510 gotcha, that makes more sense. Thanks!
I am pretty sure these are only available in countries that don't require teir4 emisions
Why so few full U blades are seen anymore? I ran D-9 g's and h's with U blades they were very much superior than SU. They scoured better and much greater capacity etc;
Depends on what material you are working in. U blades are almost useless in heavy clay.
D9 L still the best dozer ever made
💯👍
❤
The best machine
Great dozer!

Classic inside

Good machine
Good job ,keep it rugged and basic no cheap plastic tin stuff. American built at Peoria thats the American way don't Mistubishee it
Looks like a 90s dozer inside with a new outside
That's pretty much what it is. The GC is for emerging markets; all about getting the price down.
Thats a good thing
@@Motologist95 omg thank god man. About to go run a d9 and was like tf is this. Really hoping it’s a nicer cab than this model.

If U want that sorta HP and weight then U get a D 10, thats what they make them for, coz its bigger than a D9.
una preguntita
Caterpillar 💪 💪 💪 💪 👍👍👍👍❤️🎥👍
If they really want to shake things up and come up with a useful machine have a loader option on it. Then youhavea machine!
