for ap2's its 8200 sure it will rev to 8400 if pushed, but the fuel cuts off at 8200. might as well say the ap1's redline at 9400 too.

Can anyone do a cost comparison of the two cars competing at the end? Makes me wonder if the price of tuning the AP1 is worthwhile if the same kind of money could have bought you an AP2 in the first place ^_^

is this a joke? it's a completely different motor with different internals, head, and bottom end.

I would much rather have a comptech or a sos supercharger!!!!!!
I'm surprise no one noticed how the sc is set up.. Why is the filter/sc located next to the header???? Heat soak???

Joe Soriano the final release of the kit moved the intake to the front of the car

An NA tuned engine with this level of tuning and 320hp works at over 13:1 compression ratio, demands high octane fuel, requires a very expensive rebuild every 50000 miles costs almost 3 times this tuning project and isn't more reliable then a stock supercharged engine because it revs up to 10000 rpm to make that power.

@putocagapff hks made 14's and almost is far away on racing...
this supercharged s2000 can be a daily RELIABLE drive car.
it's like a stock engine but has power everywhere never look just top numbers !!
    respect hks !

I agree with @Kurosaki990Ichigo my best friend is boosting his S right now and the compression went up to either 12 or 13:1 and its hitting 700rwhp @ like 7500 rpms or some shit. That's way too high. Ther super nice cars, but way too expensive to build & maintenance!

The Kraftwerks system is much more elegant and makes more power.
I am not sure if HKS knows about the efficiency of the Rotrex blowers.
There is no need to reinvent the wheel.
