An indulgence is not a product you can purchase. Its a good work, like the good works jesus performed. Donating money to a charity is a good work. A charity you can donate to is the church. Its a stamp of approval for doing somthing good, not that you need that because god already sees your good works. Once again luther didnt know what he was talking about, made assumptions, and condemned the church for something we didnt do.
