@Wolfen443 I couldn't agree more. I was very astonished the whole time I was watching it. The 3D was definitely the best I've seen yet and the animation was truly amazing. The characters were very lovable and the story was great. I'd love to see more movies made like this one.

Spelt Kludd actually, but I can agree with you there. He made an especially brilliant foil for Soren though in the movie. But I love how much darker he's portrayed as in the books.
Im obsessed with the movie and books even though a great proportion of the movie is incorrect, i love it nonetheless. the thrilling action overall and the beautiful animation make up for it all

@Gemm6905 It's based off the first three books of a series called "Guardians of Ga'Hoole". You should read them. The book was a little boring in the beginning but now I can't put it down!
@TotallyElena, is a classic by Aerosmith. By the way the movie is AWESOME. I seldom give films this description the amazing graphics compensate for a story told many times before. But the characters are very beautifully voiced and well put together. Great film for all ages, I hope that the next films maintain this high standart. The final scene is terrifyingly moving and straight out of Star Wars.
@lynbabysusu, this one deserves for a rarity the 3-D ticket prize. 2-D falls short of showing its amazing beauty. Pixar got some real challenges to top this one.

Umm people, the only reason why this movie got bad reviews was because they gave it the wrong rating. This movie is rated PG but it should of been rated PG13 for obvious reasons. (There are many deaths throughout the movie, blood, language, references to slavery)
but there is death in disney movies too, and reference to bad things in other movies surreptitiously that also aren't rated PG13. Honestly it would have been stupid to rate that movie PG13 in my opinion, to me things that should be rated PG13 are really gory, scary/violet, movies and if they have cussing. From what I remember, this movie was hardly gory. Yeah, I guess there was violence too, but there's always violence, it wasn't violent like a movie intended to be scary. I'm not trying to argue with you or anything, you're just explaining why it got bad reviews, but I'm just expressing why I think that is stupid.
