    This is awesome!!! I hope you do the rear disc brake conversion and the 171cc setup. Man I wish I lived closer to you so I could ride by and get sneak peeks of the build.

    Awesome! A new build. Can’t wait to see how it comes out. I recently picked me up a project and swapped a 150cc gy6 in. Need a few more things soon and I’ll be ordering those from TRS. And happy Easter to you and your family!

    Nice project and Good content,
    In regards to the 45 pitch on the slide carb, think the angle will be effected when the wheel and weight are on the bike when the frame sits closer to the shock mount.
    Might not be the best idea but when you cut the manifold, you could do an angle cut, weld in the bolt holes then re-drill, to change the angle of the holes to match.
    Which should level things off whilst bringing it lower.

    • @burnoutbobby
      @burnoutbobby  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I have since tightened it all up and didn’t have to go that far into it for it to work. Appreciate the advice but I was able to make it for a lot easier fortunately for me. Thanks again.

    I’m so new to the ruckus game, but I am absolutely in love with these things. Gonna get one this summer.
    I have a question. Are these motors complete? Or in need of upgrades? I’d like to comfortably do 60-70 with traffic.

    • @burnoutbobby
      @burnoutbobby  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The stock motor will not go close to that mph. You will need to do a gy6 swap and some mods to cruise at that speed. Looking to invest about 2500 into it to make that happen.

  • @phillipmurphy1671
    @phillipmurphy1671 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Awesome setup so far. I have a question, I’m doing a build and have the same mount as you’re using and am wanting to do a 14-15” stretch as well. Did you have to notch out the rear frame if you didn’t shorten by 2”?

    • @burnoutbobby
      @burnoutbobby  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The only thing I had to do was notch out the mount for that pitch.

    Awesome vid brother. I see your vision. 95% of my parts came from the ruck shop as well😂. My ruck is also custom built to my vision. Center shock setup, 4140 chromoly tubing to reinforce the back half of the frame, TRS aluminum gas tank, love the flat clean surface. Can’t wait for the next vid.

      Yea no problem, I know you have a lot on your plate. I’m ready when you’re ready. I’m in Lakeland so it’s a hop and skip to your location. My neighbor Steven Straw mentioned to me bout the ruck shop is trying to organize a ride?

    • @burnoutbobby
      @burnoutbobby  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not the shop but just a couple of the employees might just do an afternoon ride one weekend.

    • @burnoutbobby

It's alot more to do as far as getting the mount built for it if you're going to do something custom which being you I know you will.
