Wanna do a gy6 swap. Just got a GET. Having issues getting it to idle on first start up. Got it to hit 50. Which I didn’t expect. Did a custom 15” stretch but exhaust is inches from the ground. But I’ve learned a lot on your vids. ❤❤
Not sure what’s funny about it. Félix here has one that did 83. We have another at the shop that does 81. You get the right combo and it’s easy. Everyone used to tell me a 30mm carb was too big for a 150 and I still tuned it for my black and gold bike. Hit 72 on that setup.
Yeah so that’s why I’m curious why 171 doing 80 is funny as if it’s not able to be done. Tuning and knowledge on these you can go fast easy. I learned a lot from the drag racers over the years.
@@burnoutbobby you guys are taking the emoji way too seriously. Whats combos youre doing? Gearing or just carb tuning? Those are quite lofty speeds for stock gearing. I mean unless youre cranking out crazy RPMS, gearing is gearing. What the story fellas?
@@spencerguignet1210 two are stock gears and one has ncy gears. We are turning rpms for sure but that’s where the head work plays a big factor with valve springs/cam combo. Then the weights come into play and tuning carb. It’s all simple stuff.
