- After God confirmed Oscar was my husband, we decided to start courting and remove sex from our relationship. We made the bad decision to go on a cruise together, where I just wanted to toss celibacy out the window. What he told me forever shook me. Here's part 3 of my testimony. Pray that it blesses you!

Thank you so much. I have lived in abstinence for many, many years but began dating almost 2 years ago. I felt prompted to start believing to find my husband but when he did not come on my time table I was so tempted to just be with whoever and to give up my abstinence because it had been so long and I was wanting to be physical. The temptation was very strong in me but because God knows the deeper desires of my heart he allowed multiple men to ghost me, disappear, be sex averse, etc. I finally surrendered and prayed to have my lustful thoughts be taken away and He came through as He always does. I am so grateful. Hold on lovely ladies - yes we do deserve more!

That it me sooooo hard when you said (paraphrasing) “enjoy your time with Jesus, because you can never get that back” woooooowwww my heart jumped!!!! And absolutely, when you are married, u might not get that much time you had when you were single. this really encourages me to not get discouraged, and to hold out and wait on God. When I get impatient, God reminds me and align my focus back on him.

So, I just want to say thank you for your transparency and obedience! Before watching this video, I was literally just journaling to God, seeking understanding on sex outside of covenant/ marriage.
I had a friend tell me that, in a sense, I was expecting too much-considering I desire not only a godly man but celibacy.
I journaled after our call & was about to watch an old sermon on celibacy; and there you were!
It was like God Himself was speaking with authority. Reminding me not to grow weary in doing well! For at the proper time we will reap harvest IF we don’t give up! (Gal 6:9)

I decided after going thru cycles of bad decisions for the last 13 yrs that this I will be celibate. I started thinking it would just be for the yr of 2021, but after reading THE WAIT last month, my courage and desire to go beyond that was reestablished. I've been experiencing God in New ways in the short 1.5 months of this new yr bc I'm choosing to totally surrender, and I can't wait to see the ways He continues to reveal HIMSELF, my purpose, and the LOVE He has for me in this season of singleness &preparation.
