- How did I go from NOT believing there was a God to full on loving Jesus? Here’s the tea. So much happened in a short amount, one of my pastors told me God had me on a fast track lane towards Him, and looking back at these last 5 years - I believe it! lol. From believing in the universe and healing stones, to being curious about God, to too many “coincidences” happening, to then Jesus coming in a flipping my whole world inside out… this is the story of how Jesus came in and loved me back to life.

I love this testimony and resonate with it so much. Literally similar situation but my ex and I ended up breaking up (10 years together) after things came to light. He had a relationship with God and was even a Pastor’s kid but I told him I don’t think you’re living in a way that’s pleasing to God. No judgement just want the accountability on both ends. I know God had something big planned for me because he is removing people that aligned with me in my previous season. I felt a shift in me, and conviction in how I was living but was afraid to fully commit to God because I thought what if I backslide and end up disappointing God. So let me just get all my fleshly desires out and then make the full transition. God said nope that’s not how that works 😩😂 So here I am alone in this new season, and now I’m just praying God brings new people into my life that will not pull me away from him but push me closer. If anyone has recommendations on how I can find women who are on a similar journey or even further in their journey I would love to connect😌
I just ended a relationship that would've been 2 years in 10 days. I'm so heartbroken but at the same time I know for sure that the split was God's answer to my prayers. We were pretty serious and had even told our parents about it but ofcourse I just always pray "God I don't want what I want for my life, I want what you will" and I'd also been praying for God to confirm for me if this was really my husband. It hurts so much because I really thought he was the one and we were so compatible. However, we didn't have the same doctrinal/theological foundations (although he is also Christian). Anyway long story short here I am, alone and ready to just throw myself into God's word. It's proving difficult because I'm hurting but I trust in God's will🙏🏾

I feel like I'm in this exact same boat. I don't really have anyone close to me that goes to church and I don't have a car but I want to read the Bible and I'm afraid for whatever reason.
Don't be afraid. Lift up your Holy Bible and ask God to speak to you in the name of Jesus Christ. Whatever it opens to and your eyes land on it, just start reading. God bless you. 🙌
How does God speak to you? That’s something I struggle with. I just don’t know if things are working out on their own or if God has had a hand in it. I want to believe he’s guiding me, but I just can’t tell. 😞 I struggling with having faith that he’s really out there and helping me.

A lot of us are like Jonah😭 We know what we need to do because the Holy Spirit is constantly ministering to us but we don't want to give in because we'd rather hold on to what our flesh desires. But it's truly such a blessing when we give in to the Spirit of God. When we let go and let God. He truly does move in such magnificent ways.
