I did that too when I was 11, happened so fast I didn't even feel it and didn't notice until I looked at my thumb. Then i showed my parents and they panicked . That was 11 years ago.I live in Canada so we don't pay out of pocket for ER, same system as the UK. However, it wasn't stuck deep under the skin, and my dad pulled it out and i didn't need the ER. I wasn't traumatized. It was a small accident, shit happens, no need to pity myself. The boy in the video had a incident much more serious than a staple. That sewing needle is huge.
Propofol is the induction agent used to induce general anaesthesia; it's the dosage that makes it a sedative rather than the drug itself (edit: it's also infused gradually for desation rather than a full syringe given in one go). An actual sedative drug would be something like diazepam. (Propofol sedation is used during procedures like knee or hip replacements, rather than a full general as it's less risky for elderly patients, and they recover much quicker).
Don't they give anyone with a bite, or needle etc that went through the body a tetanus or a vaccine (can't remember the exact name of it) to prevent septicemia (blood poisoning if you don't know what it is)? Just wondering, thanks :)
In England they give all children the tetanus shot when they are very young meaning they won't need it in cases like that. At around the age of 20 you may need a booster shot but at that boys age he will be fine
I had a breathing problem just like Ruby's, but I was a couple months old. It turns out I had R.S.V. 50% of kids get asthma from this, and im part of that 50% sadly.
Ruby was declared cancer free in 2011 after receiving proton therapy in the US. Go Ruby!
That's so wonderful!
I got so worried about her. I'm so glad she's ok :)
Tbh, Ruby's surgeon looks like the food critic from Ratatouille
Feel sorry for all those parents to have to go through their child having surgery is quite scary and upsetting.
why does te scene of Ruby's fundraiser make my eyes swell up with tears

The Busby quints are the children of Danielle and Adam Busby. You can see them in their series 'OutDaughtered' on TLC.
the dentist is part of the hospital in England? thats crazy!
No, but hospitals have dental surgery units so in cases like this they can be used for more general dental work.

If both of Ruby's parents and her maternal grandparents all have brown eyes I wonder where she got her blue eyes from? She got super lucky.
Theres Mr Rothera again. One of his staff has got to the bottom of my ear ache and is currently treating it.
aww I feel so guilty even though I haven't done anything to them
i broke my wrist playing mercy with the boys
All this so sad but ends happy
I have had a boxers fracture before it's not that bad it heals pretty quick
Alexis Mills ok

there is specific criteria

oliverlaurasykes I do believe you get boosters at either 13 or 14 years and then around 25 or 30 years
Poor ruby😲😭🙏💜
one would think if he was so scared of the dentist he'd brush his teeth
