@@cmstyx Yes, those are such fun episodes like when Eric Nam and other surprise guests are all trying to reassure him that it's ok that they all struggled with Korean as well. But, Ollie is so witty, smart and a quick learner especially when he gets abandoned and has to find a specific gogi or beef restaurant in another town. He does so well tho. I was so proud and happy to see him get more and more confident in each new episode as well. All of Korean Englishmen are worth a watch and a like, also interview with Henry Lau of Super Junior M (line up of Mandarin speaking Members) and Younique Unit (line-up consisting of; SUPER JUNIOR's Eunhyuk and Henry, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon, SHINee's Taemin and EXO's Luhan and Kai), which the only song I remember from this unit was Maxstep and watching the MV back in 2012 on MNET the US version on TV, is another good watch.

I don't think it's impossible to get Roscoe with Josh and Ollie. We just need to comment on the most recent few KE videos in this series that a Marine Corps vet has been reacting to, and using this series to contextualize and teach us about the military, and that they should check it out. JOLLY/KE seems pretty responsive to fan requests. We would just have to be persistent and keep commenting.

Long-time viewers seem to feel that way about their first Korea trip because it was Bobby's first vacation, first time on a plane, first time out of the country, first time away from home for the night, etc. If you are interested, there is a video with Bobby's ❤MOM❤, Bobby, and Josh where they talk about all of this as they treat her to her first time eating Korean BBQ. It's very wholesome.
Seeing Bobby do the bungee jumping, and his whole attitude/demeanor in that video was the point I realized how much he has matured. Truly went from a boy to a man in front of us all.

If i remember correctly i found Korean Englishman/Jolly right before, or during the pandemic. Since then ive been dying to see other people watch and appreciate their stuff and youtube recommended your videos after i watched the military videos on their channel. They sell homemade flour tortillas made in the store fresh. You buy a package and they're still hot. Then they taste Texas Ballpark food. They go to the Ranger's park. The food there is NOT to be believed. You have to carry the hotdogs in a long case because they are 3 feet long. Not kidding. Watch "Jolly". You'll salivate it!!

Korean Englishman and Jolly are my favorite youtube channels. I’ve been following their series since 2020 and when I tell you I have the biggest envy towards Josh. cuz I believe Josh literally WON in life. His job is basically to travel and eat the most delicious food and interview famous people. Then after work, he’ll go home and continue to eat delicious food prepared by his wife, Gabby. She is korean, previously joined Masterchef (ended up in Top 2, if I’m not mistaken) and is also a vlogger, she’s so pretty. He also got himself the funniest bestfriend, his other wife, Ollie. I really want to recommend ‘The Iron Squad (강철부대)’ to watch next. It’s basically a show with different Korean special forces competing against each other. The last season that was released, season 3, has a team of 3 US Navy Seal guys and one from Green Beret, and I would love to hear you making comments about that as well! I believe they have episodes on TH-cam but I’m not sure if they have English subtitles, but I bet they do on Netflix.

I don't think you have to worry too much about Korean Englishman views. I watch on their channel, then I watch your reaction. I also rewatch their videos all the time because they're so much fun. I like your reaction videos because it feels like hanging out.
Roscoe its actually really easy to make dakgalbi. the ingredients are pretty available aside from maybe gochujang, their korean chili flakes (they arent really spicy but sweeter). its literally just soy ginger garlic sugar syrup sesame oil chicken onion carrot rice cakes etc.

I pissed myself laughing when you realise "what you're watching vs what you're eating" moment 🤣😭🤣 because I always make sure I don't eat while watching Korean Englishman video 🤣🤣 plus I have to thanks Korean Englishman for introducing me to Korean food (ssam, Korean fried chicken, Korean BBQ, tteokbokki. For your question about what green veges in the cold noodles dish - maybe its chives and perilla leaf and maybe napa cabbage, I'm guessing as its a dark green colour and not the light green colour of the napa cabbage....
15:18 FIY those green leaves in cold noodle are purple lettuce (also known as red leaf lettuce. usually pretty tender) and perilla leaves. Exact same stuff you use for kbbq ssam. These vegetables are added into noodle as healthy fresh crunch aromatic bitter filler.
dont worry capt roscoe, i already watch all of the korean englishman vid. then i watch it again just to see the reaction of others, coz to me its interesting just to see what people think of the vid. do they have different opinion with me or something. especially the boot camp vid, watching a reaction from a marine really give me some insights to some things i never know.

Despite watching the videos here together first, I'm a regular subscriber at the Korean Englishman and Jolly channel plus I love rewatching things i find fun so the importance notice thing was not much of a problem to me. 🤣 When Roscoe watched them eat and compared it to his pizza, I almost spat out my water laughing since I know the difference between the taste of the two foods plus the fact that my mom makes really good dakgalbi, so I definitely can relate to him watching good Korean food he is watching compared to the food he is eating. 😂🤣

You should consider reacting to their series British TWINS Go to Korea!! (Priest + Commando), as well as their other videos involving introducing members of the British Army to Korean food. All of them started off with Josh and Ollie introducing Korean food to their friend (and (I think) Ollie’s brother-in-law through his wife’s sister), who is a priest, and then evolved into them introducing the priest’s brother - a Commando in the British Army - and his fellow army men to military-related Korean foods.
You might not be a big enough channel for a staff to prepare the exact same food for you, BUT maaaybe you could collab with the Korean Englishman channel? :D They bring you to S. Korea to a province they hadn't been to with others, perhaps with a few guest idols/directors here and there..? and in exchange you could show them your favourite places in the US, or bring them to the base where you served. Just an idea 🙈

Please consider reacting to steel troops 3 (강철부대3). It’s a show that veterans from different special units coming together to form a team of four and competing to be the strongest unit. SS3 has one team of american veterans and the strongest contestants imo. Would love for you to watch it and give us insightful comments! They have full episodes on youtube without subtitles but you can find the english sub ones on daily motion and bilibili. Korean Englishman and Jolly are my favorite youtube channels. I’ve been following their series since 2020 and when I tell you I have the biggest envy towards Josh. cuz I believe Josh literally WON in life. His job is basically to travel and eat the most delicious food and interview famous people. Then after work, he’ll go home and continue to eat delicious food prepared by his wife, Gabby. She is korean, previously joined Masterchef (ended up in Top 2, if I’m not mistaken) and is also a vlogger, she’s so pretty. He also got himself the funniest bestfriend, his other wife, Ollie. I just want what he has 🥲

I really want to recommend ‘The Iron Squad (강철부대)’ to watch next. It’s basically a show with different Korean special forces competing against each other. The last season that was released, season 3, has a team of 3 US Navy Seal guys and one from Green Beret, and I would love to hear you making comments about that as well! I believe they have episodes on TH-cam but I’m not sure if they have English subtitles, but I bet they do on Netflix.

Roscoe its actually really easy to make dakgalbi. the ingredients are pretty available aside from maybe gochujang, their korean chili flakes (they arent really spicy but sweeter). its literally just soy ginger garlic sugar syrup sesame oil chicken onion carrot rice cakes etc.

For your question about what green veges in the cold noodles dish - maybe its chives and perilla leaf and maybe napa cabbage, I'm guessing as its a dark green colour and not the light green colour of the napa cabbage....
It's lettuce. Purple lettuce (red leaf lettuce) to be specific and perilla leaves
15:18 FIY those green leaves in cold noodle are purple lettuce (also known as red leaf lettuce. usually pretty tender) and perilla leaves. Exact same stuff you use for kbbq ssam. These vegetables are added into noodle as healthy fresh crunch aromatic bitter filler.

dont worry capt roscoe, i already watch all of the korean englishman vid. then i watch it again just to see the reaction of others, coz to me its interesting just to see what people think of the vid. do they have different opinion with me or something. especially the boot camp vid, watching a reaction from a marine really give me some insights to some things i never know.
They now are doing a big food road trip through America on the Jolly Channel. And no Roscoe, Olly will not think you are strange, because he also says stuf like that to people :-)
Despite watching the videos here together first, I'm a regular subscriber at the Korean Englishman and Jolly channel plus I love rewatching things i find fun so the importance notice thing was not much of a problem to me. 🤣
When Roscoe watched them eat and compared it to his pizza, I almost spat out my water laughing since I know the difference between the taste of the two foods plus the fact that my mom makes really good dakgalbi, so I definitely can relate to him watching good Korean food he is watching compared to the food he is eating. 😂🤣

You should consider reacting to their series British TWINS Go to Korea!! (Priest + Commando), as well as their other videos involving introducing members of the British Army to Korean food. All of them started off with Josh and Ollie introducing Korean food to their friend (and (I think) Ollie’s brother-in-law through his wife’s sister), who is a priest, and then evolved into them introducing the priest’s brother - a Commando in the British Army - and his fellow army men to military-related Korean foods.
It's definitely okay because Korean Englishman's views are HIGH. and I watch the original vid AND watch Roscoe's reaction vid 😂

You might not be a big enough channel for a staff to prepare the exact same food for you, BUT maaaybe you could collab with the Korean Englishman channel? :D They bring you to S. Korea to a province they hadn't been to with others, perhaps with a few guest idols/directors here and there..? and in exchange you could show them your favourite places in the US, or bring them to the base where you served. Just an idea 🙈

Please consider reacting to steel troops 3 (강철부대3). It’s a show that veterans from different special units coming together to form a team of four and competing to be the strongest unit. SS3 has one team of american veterans and the strongest contestants imo. Would love for you to watch it and give us insightful comments!
