Yesss. That hat was super cute and festive. You made sewing very approachable and I'm still in awe that you had a full set on while doing it. Amazing job! ♥️♥️
Hey girl thank you so much for sharing I can’t wait to try out for myself. I have a question. In the video the 4 pieces of the brim are all the same size however I have bought your pattern on Etsy and the lining and brim shelf are different sizes. Would you be able to explain? (I’m a beginner at sewing and trying to figure out) thanks 💖
It’s the same pattern in the video. They’re not that different in size, the other is slightly smaller so when the hat is complete the seam comes in a little on the inside.
Hi, i was wondering how you connected the brim to the top of the hat??? Did you hand sew it?? And also what stitch did you use???? I’m trying to make this for a bday shoot
@@diondradelarue Dang it costs a little money to make this hat. Sewing is new to me, I purchased one and it was $35 EDIT: Purchasing costs less than sewing. Whew!

Once you connected the two brims. Make sure it’s inside out pin one of the brims to the top and sew around it. I used a regular serger stitch. If you have a sewing machine you can you the zigzag stitch. Once it’s been connected turn it right side. Then attach the other piece of the brim to wear the top part and brim is attached to and sew around it to close it.
