I love that chiclets can be a force of change in hockey for stuff like this. Mainstream media never covered stuff like this. I'm not too invested in this particular matter but what I found kinda funny was seeing some people on Twitter that were all for demanding changes in "hockey culture" on behalf of the players, particularly the younger ones who might not want to rock the boat, instantly dismiss this to bad-talk Chiclets/ PB.

The conversational/locker-room talk style of this pod may lead to some negativity. Granted. But the arguments aren't wrong. I think that the Chiclets boys are trying to share the real takes, but as always, also have a little levity and some humour in their delivery. That needs to be seriously considered here. Clearly Babcock isn't without controversy, and he is a very polarizing coach. But now he's resigned. Even if you had a squeaky clean record and you don't have this long resume of how you speak to players, bullying allegations and have sus tactics, its not surprising he's out.
It may not be the media-trained, best delivery of the story, but the boys are outlining a real issue where a dinosaur coach isn't suited to coach in 2023 NHL.
