P company was hard, very hard, even for me and I was very fit and had been in an army boarding school since I was seven. I was a CCF CSM at fifteen years of age and thought I was the best. P Company taught me I was good but far from the best, I should imagine the Commando Course does the same.
For those in the know, the first 2 years on the gun line in artillery generally, but cdo gunners especially, does that involve ANY action on the sharp end, should you get deployed? There must be a reason why the still hone infantry skills, or does that just lie in wait for when you go FST or JTAC etc?

Not sure about lasses in front line positions but I'm open to it. At least they're easier to carry if they get hurt.

He’s not an armourer
Loads of gunners do both the all arms course and commando course, same as reme, signals, engineers ect

Why use 'wannabe'? It should be: How 'potential' Commando Gunners respond to an attack.
