The game you were referring to with the Jelly Belly jellybeans is "Beanboozled". Fun game! I like the way you're taking the channel into slightly different territories. Also you mentioned that you wondered how they got the different flavors for the sodas. Basically what flavorists do is examine the chemical composition of the natural substance they're looking to recreate. Once the molecular structure is defined, flavorists draw on a range of compounds that matches the flavor profile of the natural flavor. It's a pretty arduous process.
That process by "flavorists" seems to fail miserably more often than not. Seems like you should just use the natural favor of the subject you are trying to create right? Simple, common, sense.
This awesome guy always successfully distracts me from the horrors of what's going on in the world. And I'm a VERY anxious person. But he always makes me calm down and chuckle.
Same. My brain does not want to shut off at night. That’s when my anxiety is at its worst. I watch his videos to relax (if you can call it that, I’m never 100%) 🙄 Or until I just pass out from exhaustion… Kinda like the whole ASMR type of thing, I guess. Either way, I enjoy his videos! 👍🏽 P.S. Sorry I wrote a novel here. 😆
@@Disciple0fWu_36 Hehe! I'm a major anglophile and I just can sense these things lol. I'm from the U.S. myself, specifically residing in Arizona right now.
You're a very brave person to try these. (I tried the ranch dressing one about ten years or so back, and my gf and I threw out the glass we put it in as well as the bottle, just to be on the safe side.) Also I'm kinda amused the corn soda advertises real cane sugar, because if there's one that than argue for HFCS, it's this one.
You had me on the esge of my seat. Was the next drink just gonna be normal soda with a funky label, or was it gonna be what was on the label. The porcelain throne awaits its next sacrifice.
Contrary to popular belief, castoreum from beaver butts is not really used as an artificial vanilla flavour anymore, as vanillin is quite inexpensive to produce.
maybe you should try Kvass, beverage made from dried rye bread, this beverage is commonly known in eastern europe. The other thing is Podpiwek, I think it's specifically polish thing, usually made from grain coffee, hops, yeast and sugar (you can get DYI pack of ingredients). Both are made by the process of fermentation.
Here in Misery..uh, er I mean Missouri on Route 66 you can find the Fanning outpost. It's home the world's largest rocking chair and the store has over 300 varieties of soda to chose from! Crazy flavors you would never have thought existed. I will say bread and butter pickle was my favorite...😏 Bummer you got the cheap knock offs because quite a few do taste like the label says, try them cold next time I bet it makes a difference.👍
There's a little "American store" in a mall close to where I live that sells a bunch of stuff imported from America (I'm Canadian), and they have a TON of these in there. They looked pretty interesting, to say the least lol

Post, Beaver butt glands?😂 Now that one got me. Great reaction video. We get those beetles too, just not as bad. I would probably like the ranch dressing pop being from the Midwest. (Indiana ) We got down to freezing last night for the first time this season. We may hit 80 in a couple if days. Normal Indiana weather.😅 I definitely have to get you a bottle opener!😅
Copied from google: Decades ago, scientists used compounds extracted from a gland in a beaver's tush to help create strawberry and raspberry flavorings or enhance vanilla substitutes. But the chance of encountering eau de beaver in foods today is actually slim to none.
WTF.......Freezing point so soon! I'm England and still 14° at night 😮😮 Not expecting 0° until late November.....usually doesn't raise above 0° until March
You are extremally brave trying these abominations I have seen a few other people on TH-cam try those. The only ones I would dare try is pumpkin pie and peanut butter jelly.
You would enjoy the pop and treats from the UK, weird but edible. Pop like IronBru, Dandelion and Burdoch, Ginger beer. Lots of strange chips like Twiglets, Pickled Onion, skips. some of the candy tastes like electric cable insulation hahaha
We have shops with UK products where I live and I love trying the different flavours! Walkers crisps had a flavour once called lamb with mint. Sounded terrible but it was amazing.
i have a recommendation, try out all the different nut and seed butters you can find online. i saw pumpkin seed butter and macadamia nut butter the other day
i think the "artificial" means, that there's no real meat in the bottles. i'm also still wondering if you got scammed with the hershey's cocoa powder. since it wasn't sealed, maybe the seller filled an empty container with actual dirt to get a better price for it. he probably didn't expect anybody to ever try to eat it
The Hershey's Cocoa on your shelf I believe is bakers cocoa. It's unsweetened and tastes really gross when it's a new can. I asked my mom for some when I was a kid, and she warned me that I wouldn't like it, so I tried it anyway and learned my lesson.
I accidentally hit 0.5 playback speed at the 16 minute mark and it sounds like you're completely trashed drunk with all the bottle clanking and burping. I didn't expect such a great video to turn out even better.

I just imagine that mustard one tasting like the watery mustard at the end of the bottle lol with just a bit of carbonation. Gross lol. Love the video man!
A few years ago, some company started making Thanksgiving dinner flavored soda. (This is no joke.) I don’t know if it’s still being made or not. Anyhow, you won’t want to drink soda again for a while! Fun video! Thank you ❤😊

Thanks for this! 🌽 Some years ago on Thanksgiving, my ex-husband and I bought a collection of limited-edition sodas, all flavors in keeping with the holiday. I think one was Brussels sprouts flavored, one was sweet potato flavored... I forget the rest, but you get the idea. The tastes were all subtle, but the fact that they mixed sugar into what would normally taste savory made them less-than-idea for my palate. 😆
You definitely need to get a bottle opener. I've seen all these weird flavors of soda, I often wonder how the grass soda would taste, somebody said it tastes like green apple
Couple of things, Post... 1.) The Jelly Bellies you're talking about are called the "BeanBoozled" challenge. I was unfortunate enough to get a SOAP-flavored bean, once! 🤢 2.) The pliers. SURELY you have a bottle opener somewhere! Doesn't the manual can opener you used when you made the "Sloppy Posts" have one on the back of it? 🤔
Enjoyed the video. Maybe you could review odd ice cream flavors. There is a mustard flavor. Once while at Martha's Vinyard, I found pork chop ice cream with globs of mash potato and BBQ swirl.
The thing about something being artificially flavored with natural flavors just specifies that the flavor was derived from a naturally occurring thing. So it's not flavored with actual dirt, or mustard, but it "artificially" recreates the flavor from natural components.
