smalltown! is this your motor with the dual dumps? did the thermostats not open in that vid? not seeing the telltale stream(s). Looks super awesome though 👍

Different motor. This is the motor that will later melt a piston due to double firing. Then i bolted up the black block which is the most recent motor I solved the ignition issues on as well as the dual water dumps.

What’s the metal rod above the fly wheel?

    • @SmalltownBassin

Cowl support bracket. 260s came with them. Cotter pin goes in to lock the cowl on.

Didn't you say they were wh46 last video? Came on bridgeport hipo engines of the eighties, if I'm not mistaken. Wh20 has the same big throat, came on 82/83 225, 7 petal,2.4l.

Correct but I don't think this guy is asking that. These were pumpers I installed first. WMH-3 off a 7 petal 200 and 245.

@@weilfast these videos weren't uploaded in order lol. I just dumped some old vids from my phone to the channel. This particular video was the first start after the build and after looking more closely, those are WMV18s. In tuning I also tried the WMH3s which are pumpers until finally landing on 46s as the best for this build. The next video in order is the short clip with no lower. It's got the 46s and red 34cc heads in this as well as the first run video on the water. Sorry for the timeline confusion.

10-4. Sounded good on the boat a couple vids back, and in your latest short. I've got some wh-20 carbs I might try on a 95 200, if I ever get around to doing some of the mods you've done to yours. Currently running a couple efi's, and hitting the soft limiter on one, with stock ecu. I'm thinking it's holding me back a bit. I've got some low quality vids up on my channel, if you want to check it out. Have a good weekend.
