    Both layers are FlyteFoam Blast+ to my knowledge. Thanks for the review, Alex!

    Endorphin Speed would be the biggest competitor for me. Also prefer the concept of Peba foam with non-carbon plate for such a shoe.

      ลองแล้วเป็นยังไงมั่งครับดูคลิปต่างชาติหลายๆคลิปพร้อมอ่านคอมเม้นท์กระแสตอบรับถือว่าดีน่าลองใช้ ผมใช้ speed edge ตัวแรกอยู่มันเริ่มโทรมแล้วแต่จะซื้อตัวใหม่ก็แพงเกินไปเลยมองตัวนี้แทน

    I have a pair of these and at first I got it for longer run and workouts but found it firm while doing strides. But I did a workout in them, and I absolutely love them. I found them super stable actually especially in the midfoot compared to other shoes on the market. Especially the Endophin speed. The magic speed has a Pedx plate that’s carbon infuse. I did go up 1/2 a size as most reviews recommend. For 160 dollars I would totally recommend this shoe. The magic speed feels and fits a little more like a race flat compared to the endophin speed . Especially in the upper. If you want a racing flat that feels like it use too but with modern tech can’t recommend these enough. With the same midsole as the novablast it’s soft and responsive and with the plate really is a smooth combo. I just found personally the Endophin speed upper and pro upper to make zero sense to me why would you put a daily trainer upper and fit on a performance shoes. Make no sense… unless ur using the Endophin speed 3 for daily training, I would recommend the magic speed over the Endo speed. The magic speed compared to the Boston and zoom fly is gonna feel way light and closer to the ground and in my opinion a lot more versatile would be happy to race a 5k/10k and do workouts in the magic speed and track workout/tempo runs. I would probably only do long run and tempo and maybe a 1/2 in Boston’s/zoom fly/ tempo next%… etc just to high of a stack height with those shoes to really get moving or feel fast it.

      So no half marathons or longer in the Magic Speeds?

    • @Carlosediaz543
      @Carlosediaz543 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JTD33 I personally would like I totally feel like someone that prefers a more traditional feeling racing flat and doesn’t want all these stiff and super high stack height shoes. Someone most def could. But I think this shoes shins when ur running at bit faster for shorter periods

      Do you think the magic speed 3 is suitable for me who need stability in mind (currently using kayano 29 but needed a faster shoe), thank you ind advance!

    • @Carlosediaz543
      @Carlosediaz543 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shredyt2247 I also need stability, it’s pretty stable compared to other carbon trainers. I did do 2 workout in them already some 800’s, and they felt great, no real problems. I did do a 3 mike tempo in them and I guess I was getting a bit of arch pain on my right foot, from pronating but when I focused on my form it was better. If your in the Kayano I would say maybe get an insole to kinda help stabilize your foot and you should be fine for short distances but if your going long then maybe I would consider something else

    FF blast+ is probably the best non racing foam out there

    Hi Alex, great review. I would add a small correction, price is 20€ higher on asics page. But lower at about 165€ top4running right now.

    Fair to say that MS1 were not good shoes (stiff & lack of cushion) but disagree on MS2, which are good shoes (snapy, light, comfortable) from speed workouts to marathon.

    had DM u in IG , regarding this shoes, 100% agree with u it is too slug for wide feet , feel ok when i try at the shop BUT after my 2nd run 5k ,found left feet close to the "ball" not comfy

    Both layers of the foam are FF+ Blast. Do you know what the durometer is?
    For a midfoot striker, would you say it's better than the MS2? If I remember correctly, most of the comments about firmness in that shoe came from the heel.

      I'm a midfoot striker and I absolutely love the ride of the second version. Don't find it harsh at all and rocker is super smooth for my stride

    How does this shoes compared to Puma Deviate Nitro 2?

    • @AlexFilitti
      @AlexFilitti  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is snappier and closer to the ground. The Puma Deviate Nitro is softer and more cushioned on the other hand. The fit is roomier on the Puma. Hope this helps

    I am looking for a show to run long and collect daily Miles (easy4:40-5:20km). I have Easy shoes like Nike invincible, but i need a "traditional" shoe balanced on my purpose so cushioned but not too much. I am very light weight 53kg. Some models to look out there?? Tank you, congrat for the channel!!

    I wish Asics would take the exact same set up in the superblast but have in the same stack as the magic speed. The only limiting factor of the superblast is its sheer volume of the midsole at faster paces for me. Love the shoe though.

    • @jontay1987
      @jontay1987 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'll be interested in what Alex thinks, but I have both. Takumi Sen 8/9 is narrower, more nimble, lighter, and faster, while the MS3 is still fast, but more forgiving, stable, and can be used on slower days when my legs are not so fresh.

      @michalkral7858 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly would go with MS3 over TS8/9 if you plan to use them for longer efforts. Takumi is a beast shoe for shorter runs. These can handle everything, IMO. But as always with running shoes, what works for you is extremely subjective haha

      @denitsakoeva9242 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@macoyupadoodle I was wondering the same if MS3 can be a replacement of TS9. I love TS9 but mine is half a size bigger and the upper ripped at the midfoot section just above the foam at the inner lateral side. such a shame because I think this shoe could have gone 1000km without a problem (it's at 500km now). Did you get the MS3 or otherwhise with what did you replace your TS?

    • @macoyupadoodle
      @macoyupadoodle 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @denitsakoeva9242 i ended up with the puma deviate nitro elite 2 because of the anniversary discount, which made it cheaper than the MS3 . I think they are similar when it comes to stack height . So far still using the takumi 8 as of now (love the shoe , hate the upper). I might wait for the MS4 as they might use ff turbo , and blast + mix...... maybe. Have not run with the nitro elite yet (still in box) but instep feel is good

      @marcyaptinchay hey, thanks for answering. we are clearly looking at the same shoes :-) because my other consideration is Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 2. Guess I'll see what discounts they will offer on their website for Black Friday and may go with the Puma.
