Don't care what anyone says ....." Bruce is still a great singer " ...regardless of countless touring in his life, cancer, age ...ect.... STILL FANTASTIC! WHAT A LEGEND....WHAT A BAND ! LEGENDS !!!!
This was such an excellent show! The last I saw them was about 28 years ago. They were great then and sounded amazing at this show. Bruce's voice is still so powerful and loved every minute of this concert and watching the stage show. This was definitely my favorite concert of the year! Hats off to these excellent musicians!
Maiden, the best of the best. These guys are true masters, and can still put out a good show. It will be a very ad day when they finally have to hang it up... Been a fan since 1984, and their music is simply timeless... Up The Irons! \m/
Thank You Jim for posting such a great quality video. Maiden did a great show as expected. Will keep this video as a reminder of the show with me when my memory starts failing. I am so elated that I was able to be there.
Bruce sounds freaking godly! You can hear how the chemo is leaving his body, and he has regained a lot of power. Hallowed Be Thy Name was sung better than he has for a long time :o
@@stevenlornie1261 I really think he sings it flawless. Sure, he sang it better during the 80s, but after that, I think Bruce now sings it better than he has for a long time. He used to sing with a very thin tone on this song, but here, every notes comes out clear and thick! Just last year, and the year before, Bruce struggled a lot with "Hallowed Be Thy Name," but I really didn't see him struggling here. He hit every note, and carried the phrasing to the end. But I am only talking about "Hallowed Be Thy Name." He did seem to struggle a bit on "Run To The Hills," but that being the end of the show, it's understandable
@@nomesobrenome4092 Eh no dude. In 2016, he could barely get Hallowed through his lungs. There might have been a good performance in Brisbane, but this performance here was much. better. He didn't squeez out the notes here, which Bruce has had a tendency to do, on that song, in recent years. He uses a different technique now, than before his chemo treatment, which works well on Hallowed. At least in present timw
@@MichaelHolmgaard In 82 he was amazing, in 83 he was awesome and on a good day in 84/85 he sung it well, too. but any later than that and he wasn't even reaching the notes. 1990 onwards was much better when he sorted his technique out.
@@MrLtia1234 My personal favorite is on the Live After Death CD. I haven't heard the song performed better, if im honest. But I must say, Bruce sounded like shit on the 90s. True, he changed his technique in order to reach the high notes, but that sharper chest voice made him sound like a completely different singer, and that technique was, eventually, what lead him to losing his vouce in the mid 90s. His voice was very tired in the end 80s, but as a whole, I like his epic opera style voice much more -Maiden England was fantastic
Is it just me or has his voice become better than it was before the surgery? I’m starting to think that the tumour may have affected his voice after all.
What do you mean too smooth zoom to be cell phone can you not move your fingers smoothly on your screen? That's the easy part. the hard part is being that steady while zoomed
Jotain se syöpä siellä kurkussa kyllä vaikutti, vaikka Bruce aluksi muuta väittikin. Ukon soundi on ihan eri levelillä, kuin ennen leikkausta. Taitaa joutua viemään muksutkin katsomaan seuraavaa...
I'm sorry guys but Bruce sounds like shit on Hallowed. That key is out of his range. I respect him as a musician but you have got to know your limitations and it is clear he doesn't. He sounded considerably better on the UK tour.

Maiden still has it.
The voice is INSANE for how old he is and cancer experience

Godly? He's really struggling here.

I'm sure this is not an easy song to sing live so for Bruce to sound as good as he does for his age is quite amazing!!

Is it just me or has his voice become better than it was before the surgery?
I’m starting to think that the tumour may have affected his voice after all.
I think he did say it had changed the shape of his throat so he had to develop a different technique. It was just an opportunity to get it better!
MrLtia1234 Like a boss. ❤️
Janick is really good in here...
Running looooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
Fucking awesome show
Is Bruce employed by BA still?
what did nicko say at the end..?
Great video quality, what did you shoot this with? The zooming seemed too smooth to be a cell phone

Adrian's Jackson "Destroyer" looks s!ck! ;)
Mr. Murray doesn't even look like he's trying it's effortless for him and he's 6 fucking 2 years old
