I think there's truth in that their economy is farming and mining oriented as opposed to finance and tech led as in the US and UK. For one thing they are still much more a middle class world whereas our finance/tech/"service" economy is increasingly a Third World one with very rich people using Wokeness to distract from how quickly the middle class is being impoverished.

He was responsible for cleaning the pens and ensuring that feed, water, and ventilation were all maintained. The systems were obviously turned off to enable the video that was sold to PETA for many thousands of dollars. The deaths of all these sheep cost the shipping company or their insurers a lot of money and has closed an industry.
Australia doesn't have the population of US, or even UK. It also has no land borders with any countries. It is preserved more or less. Cant be compared. But wokness is not something bad generally. It gets bad because people follow the trends without applying critical thinking. And there always someone who sees in opportunity to gain power or money or both from that.
