the more you practices the more you will be good ,keep practicing your braking your racing line ,body position and yoir foot position ,BTW amazing video 😁
Love to see it !! From first ever to the last session of the day and you just wanna keep going . Track is the way to go to be faster and get to know your bikes more
Been watching your videos for sometime now and it's awesome seeing you at your first track day. I remember mine, and after the first I was hooked. I know what's helped me is watching TH-cam videos of the track you're going to so you can get a sense of the track layout, apexes, braking points etc. Obviously you won't know until you get there but it's good research. Also, body position is key and looking where you want to go, not necessarily where you're at. Keep up the awesome videos and I hope to see more track day content
Im not sure if i would call my suit a perfect fit or a size to small but i was dealing with shoulder and knee pain after wearing it for more than 30 minutes. I removed the shoulder and knee inserts to get more space in those areas and it helped a lot. Also new leather is always stiff and needs time to break in and loosen up.
The final turn before the main straight, start off more to the right of the track and aim for the 2nd corners apex. Makes it much easier and you can carry more speed with confidence. Turning into the infield, I like to stay on the right of the white paint and turn in kind of late to setup for the right to left transition. For the left hand horseshoe turn, start from the far right, don't try to clip the first apex, but instead, run wide and aim for 2nd apex.
I was there all weekend in level 2, looks like you were in RDS and in level 1. Work on tightening up those lines, smoother inputs, and setting up for the corners earlier. It looks like you kept checking which gear you were in so keep mental notes rather than looking down. Great job overall, we’re typically in garage 61-63 with the FTR guys.
Fontana is one of the best SuperSpeedways anywhere. To bad they're gonna be tearing it up soon an shrinking it down. Not a bad time out at all. Glad to see your not trying to ride above your ability an impress ppl. Pushing into that chicane an knowing your braking skills weren't going to make it was super smart. Takes time an repetition. R1M is not the bike you want to lay down trying to learn that lesson. Awesome content as usual, keep it up! Use to scrape my feet on hard lean turns at first. Had to teach myself to put my heal up against the bike, an the edge of my toes on the peg when turning.
Get that knee scrapping the tarmac ✌🏼 Arse off the seat in the bends, brake b4 corners, accelerate out of corners Slow down on the straights.. It’s easy to twist the throttle on the straights, line up the corners, hit the apex, and then wring it’s neck out of the corner
It's your frist time It's good too go at your own pace..the more confident you get the better you get..when I was a pro atv rider I never used breaks, just down shift. The more sharper turn the more you down shift..Breaks can make you wipe out.
Man I’m in the hospital right now and have been for the last 21 days due to a motorcycle accident, a car hit me and cut me off, man how my life changed, broke my arm, finger, chest bone, and leg but I’m watching this video and miss riding, unfortunately I won’t be able to ride again, pulled all nerves in my right arm and can’t move or feel it at all. Doctors might cut it off, miss my bike wasn’t much (cbr600rr) but I miss her. Only if I wore all my gear man. This video makes me miss riding
Fun video! The only track I knew of was way out at Desert Center. Dang, I've ridden my bicycle past that track in Fontana a bunch of times. I'm going to check it on on my Ninja. And yeah, like you, I would ride there too. Who needs trailers???
You would have a better time with a buddy who knows the track so you can follow his lines, maybe add in a phone call if needed so he can tell you tips, love vids man you got alot of confidence
Great Video! Really interesting to see a novice track rider learning in real time. You will see a huge difference in the braking on the V4R. The R1 and R1M are not known for there brakes. Weak point on those bikes. Cheers
Driving your bike to the track is also not a great idea as you need a lot of supplies to survive through the day , and you’ll be tired afterward and if you crash you’ll be stranded there etc
Good gob looking good that definitely looks like fun I have a 05 Honda cbr1000RR Dont have any track experience but I would love to try it one day for fun Interesting how people are saying how bad of a rider you are don’t let that bother you as long as your having fun and stay safe all that matters keep riding 👍 good job 👏.
Your leader guy at the first session should have slowed up a little for you to stay close cos being on track for the first time is very daunting. You should get level 1 and 2 Cal Superbike School under your belt and keep on it for a whole season. Forget your lap times and all that shit for at least a season cos its like going back to school. You have lots to learn if you want to do it right. Bike is so loud, it wouldn't get through the gate here in UK with our 98/102Db. So they don't let you go on track with ripped denim then! 😂
Dude your r1m is the most sexiest bike you have in my opinion and then ducati's next but in terms of being a beast it's your dark green bike haha the h2😎
love the vid man my only thing is whenever your riding in the street, track or wherever i see you put your hand over your clutch a lot i was wondering whenever you slow down for a exit or a turn you just use your brake right and only your clutch when you are about to come to a complete stop right? i am about to get my first bike its a 600 cc just cause i want something i can keep, mod and customize I'm 21 I've always been a cautious person so i know i can handle it just respect the bike and take it slow

Never look behind while riding on the track, always pay attention to what's ahead
How do u avoid cutting someoff by accident then? Newer rider have not been on a track yet.
@@agent.4206 it's the rider's responsibility who is behind to make a safe pass. Never look behind you. Eyes forward always and ride your own ride.

Word of advice, keep throttle control smooth during turns. Sudden engine breaking could be the cause of your fall

Thats sick bro, great work on the track. seems like it is a good place to learn especially with cornering. I hope to hit a track like this sometime💯🙏🏽
It's great! Hope you get on the tarmac soon.

Lmao he definitely would have wore his ripped pants and no gloves if he could have
@@Brandon35G dude it aint a joke, especially you're doing corners , crashes happen almost everytime.
That pull in r1 makes even ducati fear a liitle bit😍😍
Looks like you got faster & more comfortable as the day went on, nice job!
continue like this brother, a lot of practice in taking the corners and more control of the acceleration and soon we will see you on mountain roads.

I've Subscribed to you finally because you wore full gear 😎
Glad you did this, I cant go fast on public roads knowing a 16 year old with a phone could take me out.

But depends if you have to switch back a Gear or not ofcourse but if you don't you don't have to use the clutch when only braking.
Speedometer shows mphs right? XD
