One cautionary note on E navigation systems watch this weeks Parlay revival and what happened to some of Collins mates and a case of a reef that wasn't there untill they ran into it then looked again 😬 The mistral and other wild winds in the med can really make a mess of your boat and sink even a superyatch at anchor.. usually though because the harbour walls are often bare concrete or Stone . You went to the N Med specifically Italy in the main Holliday weeks ... 😂 Even the local Mafia leave its nuts. Cruising equivalent of circulating the Arc d Triumph in rush hour. Anchoring round the major island resourts in windy conditions is like being in a bowling alley... And superyatchs occasionally run down other vessels or ramming harbour walls. A jet thruster should not cost that much .. its nozels pipes and a high power industrial electric impeller pump. .. Its just like water makers and filter/treatment systems you can build you own . The other thing with the system is the pump system can be maintained ..whilst in the water.. and locked off.
