Nice product. My only recommendation to improve this would be to flash upon deceleration. I already have no issue tapping the brake when stopped or stopping. I see the biggest issue being when you slow down without braking. Drivers tend to not realize their closing speed until it's too late.
Hello Brian, that would require the product to have an integrated accelerometer to detect engine braking. We do actually have motorcycle apparel coming out later this year with integrated accelerometers and LED brake lights that will illuminate when engine braking. The clothing will also feature turn signal integration that works on a bluetooth module that's connected to the bike. Thanks for the feedback.
I installed the flashing brake lights along with the after burners. Everything is working correctly, except for some reason the left after burner does not flash when I tap the brakes. Any idea what the issue might be? I have everything hooked up on the left side the same as on the right. Right side after burner flashes, but for some reason left side doesn’t. Thanks.

Hello David...No, the flasher will not work on the trailer as the trailer module is a separate module on the spyder and not part of the rear tail light harness.
Just did my 24. The screws have all been replaced with standard torx but are in the same places. You also need to remove the top two (between the latches) as well to let the panel come out. The bottom rear of the panel is also a little fussy to disengage. There is less room behind the lights and now the connectors are attached to the wall, so you really have to remove the whole side panels. Also take out the silver 6mm screw above the tail light assy and then pull backward on the tail light panel to pull it from the mid height clip latches. This will give enough room to disconnect the connectors and tuck the module down into a space you will see. Be careful not to twist wiring or crush the module when pushing the tail light panel back. Oh, if you have heated seats, take care with cable routing when removing the seat also. That should do it.
How far can we pull that panel back without damaging anything? I went to install the brake light flasher and could only pull the panel out a few inches. Not enough to get to the wiring inside. And definitely not enough room to get my hands in to unclip the harness. If I can't access it I'll have to return your product. So any suggestions will help. I have watched the video many times. Thank you.
Hello Pam, I don't have an exact measurement for you in inches regretfully. We just pulled it out far enough to get the factory plug unclipped, so that we could plug in the brake flasher. If it's not something you feel comfortable installing, we'll happily accept your return if you prefer that. We want whatever makes you happy. I tried to remove the plastic screws and couldn’t get them off is there a trick to it?

When this mod is installed does it work on the trailer lights if there's a trailer attached to the factory trailer wiring harness?

I have a 22 Spyder rt base. There are no plastic screws and after doing everything on the video the panel does not pull out.

I have a 2018 F3. Is there an adapter for the year and model I own?
Not at this time Vejon. The brake light harness on the F3/F3s models is unfortunately different than the F3T/F3L models. My apologies.
this is something I would also buy for my F3s
Will this work on the Ryker 900 Ace?
Hello Gail, the Ryker brake light flasher is available here: www.slingmods.com/canam-ryker-brake-light-flasher-modulator Thank you!
