Aluminum obviously won’t rust of course, and in general is pretty stable. It CAN corrode, and definitely oxidizes, but it’s pretty much going to look the same forever unless something incompatible is on it.
@@kadenjolley2816 it doesn't necessarily need to be in a case. My steel replicas sit out. You just need to keep it dust free, and lightly oiled. Like a real firearm. Just wipe it down or blow it off with compressed air once in a while, and a light coat of oil. I've never had something rust at my place. But I'm in Texas, where it's dry mostly. Living by the sea you may need to be more diligent. They're painted, blued, and oil when leaving me so just maintain and it's not an issue.
