@TayyabZERO The first part is called Ancient Books of Ys and the second was Ys 2: Castle in the Heavens. Pretty sure all 11 episodes are on TH-cam here, but it's been a while since I watched them.
I could understand replacing the intro of Rockman X4 because it had Japanese-language singing, but this track in this here intro is totally instrumental. Replacing it just makes no sense.
where's the cheat option located? I finished it and unlocked nightmare mode and I'm stock in the ruins again! T_T i wanna cheat in this mode since falling over and over again in normal makes me sick..and I just wanna see the ther scenes so that I don't need to finish it again in nightmare just to see...
@riachupwns Going to save you some money. Don't. The PSP version is a horrible port of the PS2 version, which is already a fairly inferior port of the game itself. If you want to play it, either get it on PC and dl a translation patch, or buy it for PS2.

There is. There are 2, 4 part OVAs that follow the plot of the first 2 games. Just search "Ancient Books of Ys" A user named Nova something should have them uploaded.

I meant it has them by default.
The PS2 version's English voices and CG cutscenes are so bad though it's almost necessary to put that code in.

ikagura Yep, definitely Dragonforce. If you speed it up to 1.25x, it could easily pass for one of their song intros.
