    I did a presentation on Verne in French class. (I actually picked him as topic because I loved the stories of his that I was aware of.)
    It was fun doing research on him. Like you, I hadn't been aware just how much he wrote. He had a long-standing business relationship with his publisher Hetzel who published the bulk of his books under the header _Voyages extraordinaires_ which ran for over 60 novels and nearly 20 novellas!
    At some point I had the idea of reading all of them, but it's not that easy to find translations of the more obscure ones and sadly many translations abridge parts and I'm allergic to that.
    Now, in theory I could try and read them in French. They should all be in the public domain by now and therefore even be available for free but man, I really have no desire to read 80 stories in 100-150 year old French. Maybe I'd get used eventually but realistically, there's always something more appealing than that.

    I thought the same about Jules Verne, didn't know he wrote so much.
