    I love your final project. Just wanted to make sure: 1 part paint, 1 part textile medium, two parts water in addition to spraying down surface with spray bottle? Thanks!

      Although the result is beautiful, it's too complicated! Chalk paint, water and sealing wax. 1:1 water to paint ratio; no fabric softener. Will still need sand paper (220-320 grit) to restore fabric softness between coats and at finish.

    My dad had a small furniture store he started with our living room /dining room and built from there. He always would tell the women, we can paint it any color u want! Everyone would laugh. If he saw this He would have u there doing it. LOL. Have you tried this method with the fabrics that have dimencions? /texture? I have a wonderful sofa but my hubby doesnt like the fall colors. wondering if I painted it if he'd like it. Also how much does it cost to do your blue chair? Tarp -1 brush 2-4? sponge ? delta 8oz, would it be cheaper to get it in a quart?
    paint?5? just wondering

      Aww he sounds super cute. This is the only piece I have done so definitely never tried it on different fabrics. Here is the brake down on how much I spent.
      1 Brush - Dollar Tree $1
      1 Tarp- National Wholesale Liquidators $3
      2 Delta fabric medium - Amazon $10 (the bottles I found only come in 8oz) (Just saw that Michaels has it for $8.49)
      1 Glidden Premium Paint (1 Quart)- Homedepot $11
      1 sanding sponge (220)- HomeDepot $4-$5
      Total= $ 40
      My thought on it was the rocking chair looked ugly already we were getting ready to move and we were in between throwing it out or testing this out and after I did it i actually loved it so it was definitely a keep. Hope this helps and if you get to do it to your chair or couch would definitely love to see it. :)
