In US news and current events today, the cast of ‘Dear White People’ dragged white celebs with this parody of the cringeworthy ‘I Take Responsibility’ PSA. The original PSA featured white actors like Sarah Paulson, Aaron Paul, Julianne Moore, Stanley Tucci, reciting that they take responsibility to racism after the fatal arrest of George Floyd. thank you for getting it. the editing here could use a little work. their videos are short enough we don't need previews of the video to pad the runtime, or splices of the real thing gumming up the parody. might be why there are so many confused commenters.

Pretty much. I like their talents, but I am not too interested in their lives or thoughts about things unless they have another career pertaining to such matters, such as how some celebrities become politicians, philosophers, or die hard activists. Otherwise, you're just another person sharing a sentiment with millions of other people. I'm not saying they don't have a right to voice their thoughts, but its nothing more substantiated than another person's thoughts that is one in the millions of other people in the same bubble of thought. I mean, I love chefs at restaurants and good doctors, but I'm not too interested investigating their lives and thoughts on social affairs, unless I know them on a personal level or if they're involved in a particular social affair that has my interest.

I’m a Hispanic woman and I find this video highly offensive and demeaning. It’s a total joke to me because the actors, who did the original video, which has no diversity, do NOT live in the real world. If they are going to continue to be actors, they shouldn’t be portraying anyone else because it could be portraying the role in an offensive, unrealistic stereotypical view of real people.
