Oh man. That part took an entire day to complete. But it turned out well in the end I think. What's going on there is: the text PSYCH is one layer as it approaches the fence, which is simply enough. But then I turn it into three layers that are parented to three invisible rectangles called Null Objects, that are floating roughly where the fence is as the camera moves. That way when I make the text fall through the air, they stay roughly where the impact was as I turn my characters head. Then when each letter hits the floor they turn into a new layer which then switches its parent from the fence, to tracking the colour of that part of the floor. Before moving off screen. It was fiddly, but I reckon it was worth it :)
So my video glitches out and it said “So I was banging my ex” And then cut ahead a minute or two and then proceeded to have Womble shout “RAMMING SPEED”
As far as I'm concerned, he does not do it frame by frame. He explained it some time ago, under somebody's video, but recently I couldn't find it so i guess he deleted it. Anyway, he said that he uses motion track in Adobe After Effect, and then I think he attaches a text to the marked point, so it follows given target. However, if you speak about the... Okay, well now I realised that text when Cyanide dropped his food, were actually animated frame by frame... Well, nevermind...

I know this video is three years old but as someone who still watches all of them repeatedly I would like to make a massive shout-out to Soviets insane editing. He really is a TH-cam phenomenon ;) and doesn't get the credit he deserves behind the scenes

(flying "pew pew" for shots, to know where they're coming from, he even sometimes puts health bars INSIDE the coloring of the player's names (in a CS:GO Bullshittery if I remember)). Pretty cool shit, and when you pay attention to it, you realize that's quite a lot of work!
Oh yes indeed. I basically consider Twitch subbing and Patreon to be the same boat. They're both crowd-funding a TH-camr/streamer on a monthly basis. I'll be happily to keep forwarding the Patreon updates to Twitch subs. Though I wish Twitch would give me more options there. It's just a plain text email window, which is a bit of a bummer. I'll be happily to keep forwarding the Patreon updates to Twitch subs. Though I wish Twitch would give me more options there. It's just a plain text email window, which is a bit of a bummer.
