@Jimmy pittsburgh I have over 1250 miles on it, I can go up to 120 miles on a single charge and I only spent a grand on the whole set up, if I upgrade the bike, I can easily move the mid-drive computer and battery to the new bike - so what's the problem?
My town is ticket central so 35 would have my bike being fined constantly, but maybe I should make my own ebike next time because that does sound awesome. For now, I just bought a Lectric and I hope it gets here soon.

@Redrum congrats, it will grow on you. I like it cause it reminds me of a mini motorcycle. And now I can ride 4 times as long and as far w/o killing myself. Plus I pedal all the time
I have been enjoying my black xp. Have only put about 18 miles on it so far. My neighborhood is not the best place to ride it. I purchased it for camping trips and to try on the rail trails. Gonna be going camping soon, at Wind Creek State park and cant wait to try it out there. Eufala has a rail trail I want to take on, and Gulf State park has some really nice trail that would be perfect for this bike. Like most folks in Alabama I have been waiting for some cooler temperatures before I get out too much with it. I have been riding short distances in our neighborhood with triple digit heat, just to get some riding time with it.
I just picked up the first bike today and it's on the charger. I noticed Lectric made a few changes on the production bikes. The handle bar stem now has a measurement on it, the rear rack seems a bit higher off the fender, the latches for folding now had a thumb slide lock instead of the flip down lock to hold the latches. I haven't counted the front sprocket yet, but seems rather large, maybe they changed the gearing? Also the packed bike now has a plastic guard and foam over the derailleur guard to help from bending in during shipping, as that was a major complaint of not being able to go into higher gears.
Thanks so much for showing how to get into the parameters but mine was already set at 100 in parameter #8 and I have had the bike up to ~24mph using pas so I emailed Lectric today and they told me to get 28mph to set p8 to any number > 45. So mine was delivered already set at 100. They did emphasize you must also use pedal assist to get 28mph.
I was able to change both of my XP's (ordered 7/27 - received 9/24) to P08=45 or higher but do see the error flash when turning on the display then gows normal. I can see & get to all P1 -P20. (Also set P11=3 & P12 =3 motor tweak) Not able to change tire size however to correct Odometer from 20 inch tire to 22.5? I am not positive but i can not get to 28 mph but also I am 225 lbs. Not sure if i am locked or unlocked actually?
Walk mode is life saver! Climbing a steep Rocky/ gravel trail getting a flat/ torn tire . I personally torn the tire inner tube and had to walk it 4 1/2 miles. Once you apply the brakes it cancel the walk mode. Btw: if you got a flat on rear on the road you most like be able to repair. Zip tie clamp down the hub motor wire. Once you get the wheel off the 2 rear stay closes up! Unless you have a speader . Your not going get that heavy hub wheel back on. Overall it a great ebike . @@tzwc3571 Thanks for the reply I'm still confused as to how you can add that suspension onto this folding bike Would love a video of your assembly for us biking noobs
I have a question that was brought up in another video... I haven't had a small diameter wheel bike since my BMX days, but in this other Lectric XP bike review, he mentioned that because the diameter is so small, you have to be more aware of turning because it's much easier to accidentally turn too fast and either buck over the handlebars or get hurt. have you noticed that?
I've needed the walking mode to make it up some Seattle hills. I'll unlock 28 mph and see if that ups the torque enough for some of these hills. I do agree, beware the accidental wheelie when you unintentionally engage the "Walking" mode.
Enjoyed your Video. I own a Lectric XP 2.0 Step-Thru E-Bike, which does make some Whizzing or Winning noise when in PAS and Throttle, have not used Cruise as yet. Also, Pedal hits the Ground sometimes on the Step-thru model.
9:50 "WALK MODE" All have to do is USE THE BRAKES to turn it off. I live on the second floor and it works great... just don't use the brakes or it will turn off.
Dude I totally feel you on the weather. It is October. It is supposed to be minimum twenty degrees cooler. Bike Update: Phantom Shifting seems to be taken care of. Still creaks and groans when pedaling. Probably going to have to tear the whole thing apart and relube. Cleaned off the front fork as best as i can. Chrome's pretty ratty looking but it's structurally solid, so probably going to mask off and rattlecan over it. Holding off on seat and handlebars since I might have found a deal on those locally. Any advice on what I'll need to convert from 3x7 to 1x7? I figure that'll be a good project. Yea I theoretically lose out on a lot of shifting options, but I don't really use the lefthand shifter anyway so why deal with the complexity?
Nice video I agree on the grips they are hard and kinda cheap, I would say that putting slim in your tire should be done sooner than later, the tires seem to be kinda thin. I also agree that front suspension would be great, but I have seen in forums that the handlebars and stem are not easy to replace and the front forks are going to be hard to find? not sure if you have researched this?
When I saw that you put out another Lectric XP video I was excited because my odometer is way off & after 10 days, 3 people, 2 calls 3 emails & 1 web page inquiry they have been no help. The last person I spoke to suggested I look through their facebook pages to see what other customers are saying because he seemed to recall that one had suggested setting the wheel size to 25. Well, I'm not on facebook & will not join just to hear from other owners, that's not customer support! But I did stumble across an ebike forum & found that the odometer issue is not uncommon. I've done a bit of experimenting & changing the P06 setting will affect the odometer but setting mine to 25 gets it closer to being correct but not quite, so more experimentation is necessary. Unfortunately, changing the P06 setting also effects the speedometer & I haven't found a work around for that yet but a forum post suggests tweaking P18 - more experimenting. Major changes are needed in their customer support & potential buyers may want to wait until the known issues are ironed out.
@@KevCentral Yes, the 3rd person there I spoke to said that he'd read something about changing the wheel diameter to 25 on fb. He suggested I go to fb to investigate myself. This advice was said in passing & well into our conversation & after I explained my problem. The previous 2 individuals were even less helpful, one of them offering to investigate himself but not getting back to me, which is why after 8 days I called again To spoke to the 3rd individual. P18 is some kind of % setting. I don't know what it's for yet & haven't tried making any changes to it but I saw it suggested in a post on the "ebike forum" as a means of correcting the speedometer setting after fudging the wheel size to make up for the odometer issue. I haven't had the time to research that yet but hope to soon. FYI, I suspect that any tweaking of settings you do to your prototype model will not necessarily result in the same outcome as tweaking that any of us having production models get, due to likely software changes in different production runs. The results may be the same but you never know what differs between firmware versions.
I don't want to mislead anyone into thinking that tweaking P18 is a good idea. Since I wrote my original comment I've heard that Lectric Bikes are shipping ebikes that are locked & those settings can't be changed unless you have an earlier model that was sent out unlocked. Regardless, mine is unlocked & I experimented, never able to get both the odometer & speedo to be accurate. After speaking with their customer service again, I'm convinced that locking those settings was a good move on their part & that they are actively looking into the odometer issue. Any tweaking that a customer might do probably isn't going to reveal anything they aren't already aware of so I'm leaving my settings as they were & hoping that they come up with some kind of solution before I'm too old to enjoy this ebike.
I did a ride today that the odometer said 10 miles, but the actual GPS mileage was 13. For me this is not a big issue since I keep track using the GPS.
@@gws8689 That's the only real solution at the moment. But isn't it a shame to add 1 more item to the handle bar to get speed & distance, leaving changing the pedal assist level the big display's only actual value? I say that because even the Energy Bar readings are so erratic that you can't get a realistic idea of how much power you actually have.
Any thoughts on the Rattan Fat Bear, Fat tire 500 watt folding ebike? I'm excited to see reviews when people start getting their bikes. I'm thinking the Fat Bear will actually end up being a better bang-for-the-buck deal than the Lectric XP. First e-bike to collect kinetic energy while riding. Wow!
Their website mentions that this bike is only partially waterproof. I’m afraid that the cold Utah snow and rain I ride through might short this out. Can you determine where it might leak and whether that can be fixed?
I've had my XP since mid-July. Some great points, thanks. I increased PO8 to 46 and no error signal. I agree that a key that just opens the battery compartment works for me. Front suspension would be great. I added additional safety lights also. Tires should come with protective tire liners. and I added Slime. The wqlk mode is a dangerous thing, and unnecessary. Seems that many have replaced seat post for suspension seat post or other devices. And many replaced the seat. I keep my XP covered with a quality bike cover when not using it. Lectric claims that it's alright to leave the charger on as long as you don't do that to extremes. So I usually have the charger on over night with no problems. Think I'll buy a back-up battery next year for peace of mind. Again, thanks.
Mine was beat up too. They of course blamed FedEx. Probably worse than yours. I received mine around Sept 15th. Mine also has steel fenders. Mine came with a flat rear tire and it's very HARD to get back on!
5:35 YIKES... That's going to be extremely aggravating when you get flat tires every other week. Getting flats is pretty common... Even with tire liners you can still get flats. The only tires that have been nearly flat-less for me, are Schwalbe Marathon Plus with the extra rubber compound. It's why I'm hesitant to get a fat bike, as there's no flat-less tire for them.
Always good stuff Kev. Eahora is now selling almost the same bike on Amazon. Did you notice there are two little buttons on the right side of the button switch connected to the M5 for a total of 5 buttons? The one near the bottom resets the odo on mine The top one has the bell in the way of pushing it so not sure what it does.
Sadly Eahora have severe quality issues and defective motors. It's got everything you would want in a folder but can't be trusted I might have gone for the new 2020 model.
Matthew Cutler removing the rear wheel the first time was a nightmare. Until I made a tool to spread the rear stays to remove /reinstall the rear wheel hub assembly. Highly recommend tire liner and green slime . If you get a flat . These tires almost fall off the rims. You can just pull the inner tube out the side ,patch and pump backup.
Have you considered their seat suspension and wider seat accessory? Also, many people complain about the front and rear brake noise and have suggested replacing it with hydraulic brakes. Any thoughts?
kev, on the taillight problem. I have found a better way than using a "shim" Thats just kinda looks kinda....YOu know the word..it ends with "......engineerling" When I mounted my wall mount large screen TVs i got a whole selection of hard black plastix washers that would allow for dif size TVs. I took the washers off of the taillightm and inserted these black plastic tubes. They are one inch long with a hole about thes size of the washer. Then I rounded up some svrews , same diameter but about 1" long. Now my Taillight shoots out towards the end of the carrier where the downward sllope of the fender gives you more distance. IM sure if you go to a hardware store or Home depot, you can find some PVS tubing that would work or maybe they have such a "washer". Failing that you could stack up about 5 or 6 metal washers..just doesnt look that good. I have a question for u...Myenergy bar doesnt seem to work. Im thinking in settings I may have wrong battery size. It had 60! I moved it to 48. Think that will fix it. I mean after 40 miles I should have seen a bar disappear!
Well we might be getting $1,400 USD stimulus soon so that might do it for you and you can even afford extra battery packs or other accessories to go along with it. Personally I have ordered one from a $600 USD stimulus and some other money that I had and when I get the other $1,400 USD stimulus I will order another one as well along with some extra battery packs
Great vid! How did you get the grips off? Heat gun? I normally spray windex between the grip and bar and work them loose but these grips are so rigid you can't even open up a tiny amount of space to spray into.
Was wondering if you could demonstrate the ease (or difficulty) of rolling the bike in its folded position. I am considering picking one up as a daily commuter and would have walk through office space to get to my cubicle. There's very little footage of that around - unsure if that's deliberate. thanks in advance.
I went through a lot of comments, and you may have answered this already, but do you have a link to the exact DNP Freewheel that you used. I but the wrong one once already, don't want to have to send another one back. Thanks!
@@KevCentral Thank you very much. I can't believe how solid this bike feels. I think the only draw back is the gear ratio. The 20in wheels make it hard to get harder gears for top speed. Would be great if you could get a 54 or 56 front chain ring. Thanks for the informative videos.
Thanx again for the hookup The paneer bags were of better quality than the ones I purchased from a store!! Love my XP , I used Kevcentral at checkout on LECTRIC order page For free bags They came out with a step through and 8m wondering if bag deal was still in effect?? Iv Cant believe I got bike and 100 miles ,no problems The newer tail lights are skinnier and more fancy!! Looks like front light changed a little too ,kickstand more ergonomic!! New key is underneath!!! Thnx 🤙🤙🤙😎
For your keys issue - put a small carabiner on your key ring. You can then easily unclip and reconnect the key to your main bunch. Front fork should be upgradable. Worth checking out what will fit.
Awesome bike. I love riding mine. I get excellent mileage and i keep it on PA1... I hope you don't need to call customer service because even though they're quick and prompt to answer and talk to you, getting them to send you broken or missing parts is a nonwinnable battle.. They suck at that. But the bike is awesome.
Mine showed up Friday, took it for a little test ride today. Going to have to adjust the rear derail-er, I think something happened to it in shipping. Assuming things arn't more borked than they appear I imagine ill be a happy camper.
I've been dating the Sondors XS for awhile. But, add on fenders, rack, light, and i've spent double the money for bikes with similar specs. I plan to order a pair of Lectric's for $1800.
When you changed the freewheel, did you notice if there were spacers? I'm wondering if it could be upgraded to a 8, 9 or 10 speed freewheel. Probably not enough room, but does raise some interesting other questions about then subsequent need to replace the rear derailer and shifter/brake combo.
I thought since you are the king of affordable bikes, Have you noticed that seat tube comes shimmed already in my experience it is poor manufacturing to do so, and are you too having problems with Seatpost slipping? I have 2100 miles on my XP and the pivot noise is crazy loud was fix a little grease it isn't the pin but where the 2 frame pieces touch
Hello. I don’t have any shims on my seat post (any of my Lectric bikes,) nor have I had any issues with the seat post slipping. That sounds like an issue with the clamp not being tightened enough. I don’t fold/unfold any of mine enough to develop any pivot noises. They tend to stay either folded or unfolded for long durations.
Where did you get the padded handlebar grips from? Also is there a mod so you do not have to have the key in it? Otherwise great video. Still trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on one. When they raise the price another hundred bucks I kinda giving it a second thought.
I'd really like to know as well. This video refers to "unlocking" - but doesn't actually seem to talk about unlocking, only getting extra oomph out of the prototype bike
The handlebar latch for the bike received in September are different. There is no separate sliding mechanism. But it does have an integrated sliding button similiar to the button on the frame lock/latch (which is also different).
Idk what the place on the do 2.0 is called but there’s a place where you can fit 3 bottles of water and can still use the lock feature that xp. So id try to put the bottle there for more storage and it’s still excusable.
I received 2 lectric XP at separate times due to shipping malfunctions. Also received two different batches. The newer one has much better handle bar retainer clamp and fenders sit lower to avoid that clanking. Had some basic fit and finish issues that were corrected with both. Just do a good once over when you get it. Check the bolts and screws...I had a lot of loose screws. Back light fell off. Greatly appreciate your videos on the XP. Off to order a bottle clamp.
I use a 6ft chain through the carry handle and front wheel to a bike rack. Plus a 3ft chain through the back wheel and carry handle, and leave it where there's a lot of foot traffic. A bit of a pain, honestly, but less than losing a bike.
Kev, great video. I've noticed on my XP that the odometer is not calibrated properly. Any idea how to recalibrate it so it captures my distance properly? Thanks!
Great Video. I was curious, where and how do you lock these bikes up when you go to the market? I'm really thinking about buying one of these now that I got my stimulus. But I live in Los Angeles and I'm worried about somebody messing with the computer being open and exposed. It looks expensive.
Seems to me you might be able to use that other drink holder post mount by putting a small piece of that rubber/plastic spacer material in front of the screw.
For the key thing. I use a carabiner that I put on my keychain so I’m able to quickly get the key out then put it back into the carabiner once I’m done riding.

Not here. Heat index was 105 today
Enjoyed your Video. I own a Lectric XP 2.0 Step-Thru E-Bike, which does make some Whizzing or Winning noise when in PAS and Throttle, have not used Cruise as yet. Also, Pedal hits the Ground sometimes on the Step-thru model.
I have the same thumb problem from cheap grips on my folding Ebike. Gloves helped but I will be switching the grips.
9:50 "WALK MODE" All have to do is USE THE BRAKES to turn it off.
I live on the second floor and it works great... just don't use the brakes or it will turn off.
Thanks for this update review. Sorry about your hand. Hope it heals!
CAN I GET A LINK ON THE HANDLE BAR GRIPS

Note: that’s a link through my Amazon affiliate store, so I earn a small commission from purchases.
Could you do a video on how to store your electric bike during the winter? Thanks!
Yes to store in winter keep it in a dry place er doooo inside your house.
Their customer service referred you to a fb group for answers?
P06 is wheel diameter. I’m not sure what p18 is.
Wow!
I don't see anything about recovering kinetic energy on the fat bear on their website?
@@AzTurboMini I apologise. They say they are converting kinetic energy with I-Pas on the downhill roll and using it to charge the battery while riding.Intelligent power assist system (I-PAS) is patented technology of Rattan Team. Featured with energy conservation and generation.
I-PAS motor after being optimized, can easily make the efficiency more than 83%, under intelligent controlling , can be realized the seamless switching between drive and generate.
The System has achieved two major breakthroughs: One is comparing to the traditional control system it saves more than 50% of electric power.
The other is that the kinetic energy could be collected while the bike gliding and downing hill, and convert it into electrical energy by I·PAS system, which can be stored in batteries.
For example, a mile of downhill kinetic energy can be converted by I-PAS system, allowing the bike to ride an extra mile on flat road, furthermore keeping the battery more active and prolonging its life.

THEY HAVE RECEIVED THEIR BIKE!
WHAT OUR LOVELY CUSTOMERS SAY!
we received our bike a few days ago and I have to say we are very impressed with it. When I ordered it I was very Leary about what the quality would be like but I have to say it far exceeds my expectations. The bike took me about 20 minutes to assemble and works great.
- Caitlin
I really love this bike for the fact that with some health problems I am able to ride a bike again.
If something were to ever happen to it I would buy another one.I haven't had it that long yet but so far so good.
- Gary Hinkle
I ride my bike to work which is about 5 miles to work. I can ride this bike to work without getting sweaty with the pedal assist. I have been able to use pure electric and get up to 20 miles/hr. I have put ove 1,000 miles on this bike in the last 7 months.

Just wondering if you have any ideas for unlocking the speed limiter on the new 2.0 controller.
Thanks for the videos
Mines won't go pass 32 in p08
Mine was beat up too. They of course blamed FedEx. Probably worse than yours. I received mine around Sept 15th. Mine also has steel fenders. Mine came with a flat rear tire and it's very HARD to get back on!
Just got mine today. Rode over 20 miles in Santa Monica today. Really fast and long lasting battery
Congrats
5:35 YIKES... That's going to be extremely aggravating when you get flat tires every other week. Getting flats is pretty common... Even with tire liners you can still get flats. The only tires that have been nearly flat-less for me, are Schwalbe Marathon Plus with the extra rubber compound. It's why I'm hesitant to get a fat bike, as there's no flat-less tire for them.
I’ve yet to have a flat on any of my fat tire bikes.
@@KevCentral You'd have to make a video of riding over glass to convince me lol.
@@KevCentral what ply are the tyres?, same as motorbike?
Like your critique and ideals, you sold me on the lectric-any deals on the Lectric?
Always good stuff Kev. Eahora is now selling almost the same bike on Amazon.
Did you notice there are two little buttons on the right side of the button switch connected to the M5 for a total of 5 buttons? The one near the bottom resets the odo on mine The top one has the bell in the way of pushing it so not sure what it does.
Sadly Eahora have severe quality issues and defective motors. It's got everything you would want in a folder but can't be trusted I might have gone for the new 2020 model.
After seeing the difficulty with the back tire I'm scared to fix the flat I just got, lol. But it's good to know, thanks for the video!
Are you able to install a spring fork if you were able to aquire one?
I would love to see you review the D-Class Dual-Motored Scrambler Ebike from ariel rider or any of their line of ebikes.
kev, on the taillight problem.
I so hope to afford 2 of these one day. One for me and one for my wife
Maybe she could buy them for you with her part time job !
Great vid! How did you get the grips off? Heat gun? I normally spray windex between the grip and bar and work them loose but these grips are so rigid you can't even open up a tiny amount of space to spray into.
I use an air compressor and air nozzle
I want this bike so much
Great video I know this is an old video and there are already a lot of comments but if you want to disable walk mode it is setting p21.
New sub. Very helpful info. Agree about suspension fork
Was wondering if you could demonstrate the ease (or difficulty) of rolling the bike in its folded position. I am considering picking one up as a daily commuter and would have walk through office space to get to my cubicle. There's very little footage of that around - unsure if that's deliberate. thanks in advance.
the " pacer mode " can be useful to walk a bike up a flight of stairs.
I went through a lot of comments, and you may have answered this already, but do you have a link to the exact DNP Freewheel that you used. I but the wrong one once already, don't want to have to send another one back.
Thanks!
I had to get mine from eBay. Use the eBay search field and put in these numbers: 113855438739
I think that’s even the same seller I bought mine from.
@@KevCentral Thank you very much. I can't believe how solid this bike feels. I think the only draw back is the gear ratio. The 20in wheels make it hard to get harder gears for top speed. Would be great if you could get a 54 or 56 front chain ring. Thanks for the informative videos.
No worries. Note that removing the rear wheel is easy, but getting it back on is a 2-person job with lots of swearing involved!
I'm always 16 minutes late f***.oh well love your videos Kev never disappoints
Don’t be a Chad.
Thanx again for the hookup
The paneer bags were of better quality than the ones I purchased from a store!!
Love my XP , I used Kevcentral at checkout on LECTRIC order page
For free bags
They came out with a step through and 8m wondering if bag deal was still in effect??
Iv
Cant believe I got bike and 100 miles ,no problems
The newer tail lights are skinnier and more fancy!!
Looks like front light changed a little too ,kickstand more ergonomic!!
New key is underneath!!!
Thnx
🤙🤙🤙😎
What size were Wolf Tooth grips you got?
Starting to see videos about this bike in my recommendations now lol
PGRFN every add I get is for the lectric bike and it’s so annoying.
For your keys issue - put a small carabiner on your key ring. You can then easily unclip and reconnect the key to your main bunch.
Front fork should be upgradable. Worth checking out what will fit.
Like your add one: Any headlight solution?
Awesome bike. I love riding mine. I get excellent mileage and i keep it on PA1... I hope you don't need to call customer service because even though they're quick and prompt to answer and talk to you, getting them to send you broken or missing parts is a nonwinnable battle.. They suck at that. But the bike is awesome.
Hey Kev! Wondering what type of locks you would recommend for keeping this thing safe? Thanks!
I don’t have to use them, so I’m a bad person to ask
KevCentral thank you anyway! Perhaps the portability will allow me to take it in buildings with me. Much love Kev :)
thanks for all your videos.
28mph top speed is with pedal assist only correct?
what is the throttle alone top speed?
20
Is there a certain diameter needed for the hand grips that you suggest?
The bars are a standard diameter at the grips. The only thing that needs adjusted is the length of the grips
@@KevCentral Thank you Kev, just received the bike yesterday and added a sr suntour sp12dcx seat post.
Mine showed up Friday, took it for a little test ride today. Going to have to adjust the rear derail-er, I think something happened to it in shipping. Assuming things arn't more borked than they appear I imagine ill be a happy camper.
Did you ever review or ride the Sondors Fold XS or other Sondors E Bikes.
I've been dating the Sondors XS for awhile. But, add on fenders, rack, light, and i've spent double the money for bikes with similar specs. I plan to order a pair of Lectric's for $1800.
Kev, what do you think of the Sohoo fat tire folding e bike sold by Amazon? No reviews yet, I guess it's too new. Good specs for the price.
More expensive, fewer sales, battery not in tube so more exposed to be stolen. Go with Lectric...
How’s the carbon x weight loss regiment goin?
I’m about to do something $$$ with that.
When you changed the freewheel, did you notice if there were spacers? I'm wondering if it could be upgraded to a 8, 9 or 10 speed freewheel. Probably not enough room, but does raise some interesting other questions about then subsequent need to replace the rear derailer and shifter/brake combo.
No. It’s a super tight fit with the new freewheel
when upgrading the speed how about changing out the freewheel? any thoughts have you made that adjustment?
Amazon. The key requirement is on the production bikes. No ideas how that could be circumvented
For the scratches use electrical tape to wrap around the area where the clamps go. Cheap hack!
or black paint. I think he probably will just leave the bottle to cover it.
We woke up with frost on our vehicles this morning
What happened to unlocking to 35mph? Didnt you mention that in the May, 2019 video? They limited the speed for the law but is it unlockable or not?
I'd really like to know as well. This video refers to "unlocking" - but doesn't actually seem to talk about unlocking, only getting extra oomph out of the prototype bike
The handlebar latch for the bike received in September are different. There is no separate sliding mechanism. But it does have an integrated sliding button similiar to the button on the frame lock/latch (which is also different).
When is the lectric xp coming to the U.K.
Idk what the place on the do 2.0 is called but there’s a place where you can fit 3 bottles of water and can still use the lock feature that xp.
So id try to put the bottle there for more storage and it’s still excusable.
use a black sharpie on those scratches until youre ready to paint it.
Do you know or have any experience with any 26 in Fat tire E bikes?
That you would recommend?
I reviewed the Stark 26” fat tire bike and I have another that I’m testing at the moment. Video on it coming soon.
I recommend Alibaba, and take your pick because the reviews are there as well.
great video. Any ideas on how to lock up this bike really good? I live in a college town and bikes are stolen all the time.
Through the carry handle?
I use a 6ft chain through the carry handle and front wheel to a bike rack. Plus a 3ft chain through the back wheel and carry handle, and leave it where there's a lot of foot traffic. A bit of a pain, honestly, but less than losing a bike.
@Redrum ah, I meant chained through the carry handle to a bike rack. Just edited my original comment to clarify that. Thanks.
Hi. So I see the part for the bottle cage that attaches onto the bike, but where do I get the bottle cage?
Kev, great video. I've noticed on my XP that the odometer is not calibrated properly. Any idea how to recalibrate it so it captures my distance properly? Thanks!
My speedo had issues somehow
Great Video. I was curious, where and how do you lock these bikes up when you go to the market? I'm really thinking about buying one of these now that I got my stimulus. But I live in Los Angeles and I'm worried about somebody messing with the computer being open and exposed. It looks expensive.
I’m fortunate to live in a city that doesn’t have many bike thieves. Plus, I’m usually with my bike
Be sure to check with your state laws before changing the max speed. Here in Texas the max is 25 mph.
Chris Eckersen I mean, who cares about the law. I ride alongside cars going 30-50 mph
Like the cops are gonna pull you over...
That only comes into play when an inattentive driver runs u over! Those are just lawyer limits! 🤣
Will they deliver to the uk?
Seems to me you might be able to use that other drink holder post mount by putting a small piece of that rubber/plastic spacer material in front of the screw.
What about mirrors?
Hi Kev, what size wolf grips did you buy? Also best way to remove handle grips. Thanks
For the key thing. I use a carabiner that I put on my keychain so I’m able to quickly get the key out then put it back into the carabiner once I’m done riding.
Great review, thanks
I have a clank, and i can't figure out where it is coming from. That must be it, thanks.
