In this how to / tutorial video,it will show you how to get past the passcode lock. This will work for any device on android such as smartphones and tablets!

I have tested serval ways how to unlock android devices, the way in the video is the fasted and easiest way. The only down side to this is you will lose all your data and info. Hopefully you backed it up before you forgot the passcode. If you have any questions or if this tutorial did help you drop a comment down below. In the video I am using my Samsung Galaxy S2 on T-mobiles network with icecream sandwich software.
Note: You will lose all your data if you follow this video!
There might be slightly different steps to get to the system recovery mode (depending on your phone and carrier), my way is the general way.

This is a factory reset... not any kind of hidden trick. Lose everything is a last resort. This is like saying I HAVE A WAY TO GET OUT OF ANY HANDCUFFS... Just cut your wrist off.. Make the title "How to factory reset your phone"

I googled how to unlock the draw pattern and this was the first one that came up for TH-cam. I have an old HTC One that I have sold on to Music Magpie but forgot the lock code.
As it is a HTC and not a Samsung I didn't know if it would work and HEY PRESTO...it did exactly as the video described. MANY thanks JrTech.
2017 July this still work I got my old phone from 2013 old Samsung and it works all you do is charge your phone then follow the processs !!!! Great love it !!!thank you !!!

When i tried to do this my screen went all purple and didn't vibrate or anything so i let go of the lock button but still nothing. then i let go of the volume button and my screen still remained purple. I then took out the battery and put it back in then my phone went back to normal. I am doing this with a Sprint phone. I don't know all about it. But I was able to get it to the screen that you showed now its doing the usual wipe data/factory reset. I've never had to do this with a phone I've only done this with a computer once or twice. Thank you for your video this was very simple to follow and very easy to do.

This will erase all the [internal] storage, but most people have their music and photos etc.. on the SD card. And that won't be erased at least. So that's something.

Not really, at least where I live, if you keep the box, you can just call your company and tell them to block your cellphone using the serial number.
and you can change that serial number too.
Prince Tanweer , Im not quite sure what you ment there. the serial that I mentioned, is the serial number from the chipset BIOS from a cellphone, basicly the motherboard chipset. It is possible indeed to change that serial, ofc, but for that you would need another cellphone. (or buy the chipset ofc) and even so, you might end up corruption everthing and just wasting money... And I dont think someone that steals a phone, wanna do it. And that number is typed in the manual.

it doesn't work on my acer tablet. it doesnt have the similar android system in it. it just shows SD IMAGE UPDATE MODE, FASTBOOT, AND CLEAN. and i tried to select fastboot, and what happened is it stopped working and the volume up/down are not working and also the power.

It makes it faster/like brand new as it's wiping every piece of data that was there. With no user apps running in the background, the RAM won't be overloaded and will therefore give you a quicker and smoother experience with your device.
