    Perfect timing! I'm in the process of shopping for an inexpensive airbrush, and you just dropped it in my lap. I appreciate it!!

    Great information, thanks! I want to start making lures and an airbrush is going to be necessary.
    I saw your community post about getting through the storm. I'm glad you're okay. Please be careful after the storm too, that's when the most people get hurt or worse.

    These look great. I've been thinking about getting my own airbrush but was reluctant because of the compressor and where to put it. So far I've been using spray cans to paint my lures but is it very difficult to get some detail in the paint pattern of the lures. This micro station is the best solution I've seen so far. I will wait for a chance at the giveaway😜 before I order it myself. Thanks for the demonstration, explanation and your insight. Not just this video but all of your videos, they've been a great help and insparation for me. Thank you.

    Huh, when I saw little table top compressor I had my doubts as well but it looks like it's actually a quality product. Thank you for the needle hack! I use automotive nitro solvent based paints and they clog like crazy (pigment specks are more like chunks) and I think I've noticed them eating away at my airbrush and needle so I might just give that a try. These paints can give amazing results but they are difficult to work with.

    Great video with some great information. And tips. I always polish my needles before initial use and also as needed depending on how much I paint. Keep up the great videos.

    Here I was thinking about finally getting a compressor with an air tank and an airbrush gun, and you post this video! 😄 Thank you very much!
    I guess it's some kind of a sign 😂
    Unfortunately, here in Serbia a compressor like the one you reviewed costs around 140$. And that's just the compressor. The very same setup you have (airbrush gun BD 130, airbrush gun holder, compressor AS-186, and a hose, but no cleaning set or paints) is around 165$. Who would've thought our economy is better than the USA? 😂
    By the way, there's also a type of cylindrical battery powered air compressor with an airbrush gun mounted on top of it, and I was wondering how long would the battery /the compressor last. Do you have any experience with that type?

    Damn, looks like youtube autodeleted my first comment. Anyway, I had my doubts about little compressor but it looks like it works just fine. I use automotive nitro solvent based paints and they eat up polishing and clog like crazy so I might just put this needle trick to the test so thank you for that.
    Edit: it wasn't autodeleted...

    Hi Franco, hope alls well after the storm! Question… I am interested in polishing my Badger needles but they have a ‘ball’ on the end of them. Any ideas on how to polish these? I’m nervous about them not spinning straight, but doing a “stirring motion” while engaging the drill and bending them. Any thoughts? 👍🏻🎣🇨🇦

    • @EngineeredAngler
      @EngineeredAngler  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I would not use a drill, just do it by hand...it will take a bit of patience and care.

    I have a question.
    I've been watching some of the automotive painters spray glitter paint when doing candy paint jobs. Of course, they're using bigger spray guns and automotive paints.
    So, what is needed for a hobby lure maker to be able to spray glitter paints? Is there any hobby airbrush that can spray glitter like the big boys do? Thanks. Hope you're safe from the storm.

    • @EngineeredAngler
      @EngineeredAngler  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You can try it with the largest spray nozzle...small glitter and 0.5mm might do it.

    Hola ingeniero sigo sus vídeos mi hobby es fabricarme mis señuelos de pesca pero el mayor problema siempre ha sido la capa final epoxi o barniz de automoción ya que es un olor horrible.Me haría un grandísimo favor ayudándome a elegir un barniz que pueda usarlo por inmersión y con aerógrafo diluido.He visto su video de Polycricic y no entiendo bien si lo usa como sellador o como capa final de acabado .También veo al fondo envirotex que lo he usado y un uretano Diamond .Cuál es mejor y más resistente como capa final brillante y resistente para peces agua salada?Policrylic o Diamond me haría un gran favor si me ayudara a elegir Gracias.Saludos desde España(Málaga)Costa del Sol
