Seeing Charles reaction to winning the belt was emotional. 10+ years in the UFC and holds the record of most fights before winning a UFC title.
Ismael Bonfim will take his soul if they ever fight
More fights than Glover?
@@rocmiraclepallares7504yes Olivera has a very long record of fights in the UFC Glover is the oldest first time champ tho. Randy Couture was overall oldest but he had won the title like 20 different times then lost it again then won it again through his career before his last ever record holding title win at like 44

Chandler's ability to lose a fight against a rocked opponent shows his supreme fight iq
Great words from a professional commentor
You can say it that way and be a hater but you can also say something like "win or lose Chandler never goes out without giving his opponent a good fight"...
Chandler’s fight iq sure is something special.
Bonfim destroys Oliveira & Chandler same night
@@elim02 very special. 🚌
Michael "Mr. load up the right hand constantly" Chandler
Chandler needs better boxing, even Dustin himself said that at one point Chandler could've finished him if he wasn't throwing overhands everytime instead of straight punches.
@@BreastMilkEnjoyerX He will do the same with better boxing. Ofc he knows how to throw straight punches he just at the heat of the moment does what his body tells him to do. He needs to learn to control himself better.
@ettorebugatti9354 100% bro he and many others have low fight IQs when they step in the ring.
Still insanely talented just too many holes in his game, shoutout to kevin lee 😂
despite his spamming the right hand it almost got him the lightweight championship\
Bonfim beats Oliveira & Chandler
Charles run of Chandler, Piorier, and Gaejthe has to be one of the most exciting title runs. Every fight was violence from the first bell to the fight being stopped.
His last 6 years have been unreal
Getting saved by the bell and almost losing is exciting huh?
@@guy_with_a_beard__glass6949yes actually 😭 no way you don’t enjoy people almost getting finished every moment
@@KingGlo300 Olive with 1 title defense is heavily overrated

God had to nerf people like Chandler. He's too physical, had to give him that room temperature fight IQ to balance the scales.
When the bad guy has a gun in a movie but cant aim for 💩
And no gas tank. If you can survive the monster that is round 1 Chandler, fight becomes 60% easier.
Had a terrible , horrendous day yet this still made me laugh out loud
Lol, you didn't have to expose him like that.
Chandler has the best performances that end up being losses out of any fighter I know 😂😂😂
his fight IQ is always questionable
And when he got a step-down in competition against a washed Tony Ferguson, he looked terrible until he landed that fluky front-kick.
Guru is a better commentator than Rogan and DC combined.
@@edwinoppong1465not even questionable he straight up throws it out the window sometimes. The fact that he’s that muscle bound and throws 100% in rd 1 just shows that he doesn’t care if he gasses lol
2:29 - That escape from back control may be the best that i have ever seen.
Yes and the power of Chandler’s strength is something else . Never seen anyone lift Dustin and suplex him like a Wwe move
And also the way he lifted justin was way crazeir@@KeshHere
I wish Chandler had good fight IQ so bad dude, he'd be such a fun champion and I think he has one of the best skill sets in the lightweight division. He just runs face first into punches
Yea that was pretty nuts, you don't ever see people do that, especially with Charles? god damn
@@abenxu8731
With his power and wrestling ability he should be focused on slamming people the way Randleman did to Fedor. It's unfortunate that he's another wrestler that fell in love with their power. It's exciting for the fans, but he's making his title run harder than it needs to be.
These two are straight up allergic to boring fights
0:14 that leg kick was so smooth and chill
it was a front sweep

7:49, charles is wrapped with the belt and it hits dan down there LOL
lol
Bonfim would've hit Dan harder
I've never seen that before lmao
Good catch
That was funny. Glad that Dana noticed it too and went to him
That first left hook from Charles was a thing of beauty
Agreed, and people get mad when ever someone critiques a fighters technique but this stuff is no joke having a proper punching form matters, sure a lot of fighters get away with this in the mma and kickboxing organizations and probably in other combat sports like karate combat but when it comes down to it proper form makes a huge difference look at boxing, or the Condit vs hardy KO they both exchanged left hooks and Condit won that exchange with cleaner technique.

That celebration alone is better than the entire career's highlights of the so-called goats of the division.
He only won the belt because Khabib retired and Islam wasn't ranked high enough at the time to get the vacant title shot. In other words Charles was just keeping the belt warm as it got passed between 2 of Abdulmanap's students.

With Khabib's IQ he would be undefeated right now. Gaethje and Poirier had nothing for him in the wrestling/grappling when he wasn't hurt by punches. And despite Islam's wrestling technique Chandler is skilled enough to nullify it and would use his power to get out of bad situations like he did here.
How can you not like that man? He’s just something else
And this is why Charles Oliveria is my favourite fighter, Such amazing style and love the way he fights
Amazing style of getting 10-8ed by a bum😂😂
Charles Olivera has one of the most inspiring stories ever. From being told that he would never walk again to UFC Champion. Great inside and outside of the cage. How can you not like him?
I always forget how quick that second round goes. Especially after the struggles in the first round. And Charles' reaction afterwards always gets me to smile.
За Чарльза Оливейру!!! Бразильского льва🦁🇧🇷🏆
I still remember this fight vividly. One of the craziest title fights ever
Amazing fight, I still remember it. Charles Oliveira is Amazing, what a fighter and what a come back!
"The lightweight division moves on without Khabib nurmagomedov" 🥶
Charles has had the most entertaining run in mma history
One of the most picture perfect left hands I think I’ve ever seen in mma. For how amazing Charles is on the ground, his striking is just as good.
I can see a club and sub win for Charles vs arman.
Wouldn’t mind seeing these two run it back at some point. Very fun fight and both had their moments.
Anik: Chandler's never been submitted in his 28th pro fight
Joe: And he never fought Charles Oliveira
Anik: 😂😂
Jon Anik" Chandler's never been submitted"
Dustin Poirier: "And I took that personally"
I can not wait for the nostalgia I will feel in his HOF induction. As a fan, these are the best times.
That left hook from Charles is a thing of beauty 5:19
Win or lose Charlie is one of the most exciting fighters to ever step in the cage
one thing I like that Anik does, is when DC and Joe completely start to become biased towards someone, like here how Joe keeps only riding Oliveira(which I can't blame him really), Anik is like "Chandler's never been submitted", or the Izzy Whittaker 2 they kept riding Izzy and Anik would highlight what Whittaker did to counter-react to Joe and DC/Bisping
Fight can change at the blink of an eye, incredible performance by Olivera! Showed his determination and heart to the world
Those finishing punching combos are perfection
I love you Charles❤
This was my first ufc fight!

Wild and killmode and no tactical or technical plans, no fades, or gameplan fights goes well for Chandler, Oliviera, Dustin, and Justin. Just forward pressure and 100% wild strikes exchanges.. La reacción de Charles cuando le colocan la faja es muy emocionante. Aún me dan ganas de llorar de felicidad por él.
Finally they uploaded this fight!
This was the greatest night in Mma in this decade. Maybe in any decade.
The greatest fight
The Greatest post fight celebration with Charles running into the crowd and bawling when he got the belt.
The championship coronation marking the end of the long term story of Charles's up and down career and the beginning of his Championship reign
It's one of the greatest stories ever
One that should have lasted longer but was taken from us. But gotta be grateful it happened either way I guess.
What about izzy arrow celebration ?
Godard will stop that match early for Chandler 😂
Win or Lose I love watching both of these guys fight. Both guys go for the finish non-stop. This was a LW champ fight but also a BMF champ fight in my eyes.
The fact I saw this live makes this sm better
Chandler took clean hits from gaethje and poirier. But gets knocked out by olivera and that too within 10 sec of round two when he didn’t sustain much damage in round one. Shows you how powerful olivera is gaethje confirmed it.
One of the greatest lw Champs of all time. Whatever that guy's name who has the belt rn ain't ever gonna be this memorable.
