The referee is not supposed to stop when your unconscious on the floor like of course if one hits you on the chin and you go straight to sleep then dif story but a referees job is to Protect the fighters from unnecessary damage and to prioritize their safety and prevent a possible career ending injury or just an injury in general. If you take so many significant blows to the head in such little time and your also wobbled the referee will most likely stop the fight lol and there is nothing wrong with that especially with Alex Pereira he literally hits harder than Francis Ngannou lmfao .

he dropped to his knees from a clean left hook, shot a hail mary take down, failed, recieved about 10 or 11 unanswered strikes (starting at 10:31) to the side of the head in that position, had his legs give out, fell back, with a still fresh looking alex periera in full mount. If you want him to get some more brain damage "just to be sure" then just say it.
We see this all the time. Most of the fights where you see a fighter go down and recieve one or two really hard strikes when they're defenseless, they could also "stand up quickly" if the ref stops the fight before the last couple of unnecessary shots. May be the occasional derrick lewis or ngannou knock out is an exception, but that's about it. every other time its: fighter goes down -> is basically out -> recieves couple more hard strikes to the head -> now everyone one's sure he's out -> fight ends.
