This is a Christmas tradition for me since I saw this several years ago....I have to see this video over and over....I know these boys are all grown up now but I hope they realize the joy they have spread over the years with this video....and I pray they have the true joy of Jesus in their hearts.....I love this!,
I'm on it today, right now. Same here, several years ago.
Me too! It's such a treat for the Christmas Season! 🥰❤️
This is the first comment that popped up, and I'm right there with you. I too discover this 3 years ago, and I put it on Facebook every year, and laugh all over again like I've never seen it! Everyone I show it to, laughs just as much, and I couldn't agree more was what you said. I hope these boys know how much joy they brought people. The holidays can be tough sometimes, and sometimes something like this is just enough to change someone's mood and make them laugh. I Love it! 😁😆
You do realize these aren't their real voices, right? Boomers 🤦♀
@DeeSnuts-tr1pu Finally, someone else who realizes this! Not one of the kids has even an ounce of talent!
It's almost 9 years later, and this is still heartwarming video. Much needed in today's world, that's for sure. Well don, FBT Little Quartet!
Now 11! Merry Christmas, 2023🌲
Watch this every Christmas season ... makes my day.
My eight boys and I watch this every Christmas season and tonight’s the night. It never fails to make us smile. Merry Christmas from Zambia, Africa.
I get this one every Christmas season, and I send it out every Christmas season. Interesting combination of Christmas spirit, music, humor, and a large dose of cute.
This is hysterical!!! Those boys have real talent and timing.
A fitting tribute to the Cathedral's
I know this was meant to be funny & help bring the season of Christmas in...but can you imagine how PROUD these young mens parents must have been to see their children being involved in this Church & ESPECIALLY BEING TOTALLY INVOLVED IN THEIR YOUTH GROUP...AMEN!!!!
Funny & inspirational all at the same time.
Much love from Mobile Alabama.
I've watched this many, many times in the past and still LOL every time! They sure have all the moves down pat! Absolutely adorable!
Absolutely priceless. And they have a great sense of humor, too.
I really hope that these boys now young men come back to this video and read the comments of how much joy and laughter they brought. If you read this guys thank you, a special shout out to the bass !! Well done.
I run across this every once in a while and I watch it for again for a good chuckle! Other young men have done this same song and made videos. But, I gotta say, I don't think anyone can compete with these little guys. It looks like this has been over 10 years, I wonder where they are today?
Linda Chaney, these guys had perfect chemistry together, and did everything perfectly! They are seniors in high school now, and are still close friends. The blonde on the left is my son, Jackson Stanley.
I helped them put this together for our Living Christmas Tree at Florence Baptist Temple in Florence, SC.
@@forreststanley-lotsofthisa6285 LOVE these boys version of lip-synching to J.D. Sumner's Christmas Carole the best. I'm glad you provided more info where they performed. I think all of us would love to know the boys names in order shown on the stage and when this was done so when I post this again on my Facebook every year others will know who they are and where they were and when they did this wonderful rendition.
Very uplifting....great group of young men. This video makes a person smile and chuckle. Thanks to all involved. God Bless You all.
I look forward to seeing this every Christmas. I just learned it is a miming to J.D. Sumner's recording. Wow! Blessed!
JD Sumner once held the Guinness World Record for lowest recorded sung note. It’s been broken several times since his passing, but did those groups have the showmanship to walk their bass man down through consecutive key changes like this? Great song, great recording, and some PHENOMENAL acting by those kids.
@@MatthewChristianMurray he held it for 18 years if my memory serves me right
@@MatthewChristianMurrayJ.D. still has the only clear, clean low voice. None of the "record holders" can be completely understood at their lowest. You ALWAYS understood J.D.
I am just stopping by to hear these fantastic young men perform again. It brings happiness to my heart. God Bless each and every one of them.
I’ve watched this video I don’t know how many times and I still enjoy it. A lot of practice went into this presentation. 👍👍👍
I love how they stayed focused on the song & didn't crack up; wonderful job, guys!!!
I've been watching this video since last year. Still watching this today ( January 3, 2023) and finding it funnier every day.
My Christmas and my life are better for having watched this
I don't laugh at a lot of stuff but this had me in tears love it
There are 2 other versions and I believe that these young men did the best.
I'd love to see these young men today :-)
Absolutely one of the best lip-syncs I've ever witnessed since Milli Vanilli!
By the way, why would a Black singing duet call themselves what translates from Italian to '1,000 Whites?' At least, they showed no prejudice in their naming, even though they showed poor judge-ment in their choice of singing style.
I have seen many groups perform this but these four young men are the best.
Love watching the choir members react.
What joy this kids bring and a fantastic experience for them. You can't help but laugh.
These boys did great. As a writer for southern gospel quartets, sooo funny. And dead on.
Funny funny, this will put a smile on your face every time you think of it!
I never tire of these precious boys! ❤❤❤😂 great act.
Excellent actors!!!!!
Very well done! I'm still smiling inside. They were so good.
Gospel Quartet shared by the next generation...sharing this one with many...
Outstanding performance ! These 4 boys are wonderful.
Now THIS is some Christmas Joy! Thank you!
Fantastic! Great start to my day watching this video!! The boys are just fabulous!!! Fantastic!! Great 'performance'!
What a wonderful lip sync...very good.
This is absolutely adorable enjoyable!!! Betcha watch it again!!! Enjoy.
I love clips that show the ingenuity of man - we are just like our Papa / G-d made to create & share joy
I grew up going to Southern Gospel sings with my parents and these boys have got the quartet moves down to a T! I couldn't stop laughing. Great job, boys!
Lovely work. Congratulations to these young performers
Awesome, Must watch to the end. Great job guy's!
What an awesome video! Great performance & just so funny! I've watched it several times & still get a great laugh outtuh the kids! Good job, guys! Merry Chrismas!
just precious! a great gift to pass around for a Christmas Treat!
I saw that quartet latest year and happy to see him again.
these kids were great, and know how to be finny, but stay focused on the song... so cute, wish our church did fun stuff like this.
Thanks for such a great video. Love these young fellows - Merry Christmas !!!
Genuinely entertaining!
Such bass voices for that age.. WOW
Absolutely Brilliant !
Absolutely hilarious. I have watched it numerous times and everytime it get cuter and cuter. What a great idea. I wish that quartet's bus would break down in front of my church. LOL thanks for the laugh...thanks for the joy---and thanks to the choir for cracking up also. Did they know it was going to happen?
You've got to watch this all the way through!
That's wonderful happy Christmas but what have they done with their voices?
They are not really singing!! They are just mouthing the words and singing to a record! I believe the song is by the Oak Ridge Boys. :)
These great guys are lip synching to "Christmas Carols of Love" by JD Sumner and The Stamps Quartet. They did a phenomenal job!!
@@andrearobinson498 , the song is sung by J.D. (John Daniel) Sumner (the bass) and the Stamps, and is a Christmas lyrics version of of the Gospel song "Rainbow of Love", whose author I have not been able to positively identify.
This just made me feel good
I watch this every time i come across it. Christmas or not
If you did not know, they actually did not say that it was one of my dad‘s friends that goes to our church who sang that and his quartet I don’t know which one it was called, but the name of the quartet is sunrise quartet
You all are wonderful. Thank you .........You have given me a gift of joy
God Bless
These guys were great. Best lip syncing I've seen (better than some that make a living at it) and the moves were perfect. These boys could take it on the road. Really enjoyed it.
Awesome performance 👏👏👏
This is so clever and performed so well. Cute kids and I loved it! Thank you for sharing!
They did a really good job! Great choreography to go along with the lip-syncing. Well done guys! :)
this the best video of my life
Makes you feel like singing along. Great.
I didn't even know this song existed but I do now Rainbow of Love. Hilarious! JD would have loved it!!!
These kids have a good thing going here.
LYRICS
Every Christmas day, children sing on their way,
(Christmas carol) Christmas carols of love
As they sing merroling
Standing round the Christmas tree
Christmas carols of Love
There's a Christmas carol of love
(Merry merry Christmas)
Spreading Joy (this Christmas carol)
From heaven above (from heaven above)
Angels sing (just hear them singing)
Hear the Bells ring (hear them ting-a-linging)
Christmas carol of love
This just made my day!! Those kids are awesome!
Thanks for that video. Couldn't stop laughing. Good job boys.
That was great! I recognized the group they were lip-syncing to, as JD Sumner & the Stamps, and I'm familiar with the original song "Rainbow of Love", but I'd never heard the Christmas version before. Very cool.
Perfect! Snaps to these young men who will no doubt shine in whatever type of presentation they need to deliver as well as to the person(s) behind the idea!!!!!
Such a blessing seeing these boys perform. Great song for Christmas. It sounds like a Gold City sound track, just guessing. God bless all.
It's May and I'm watching this again b/c it's so hilarious and heartwarming!
This is realy goof. Thanks to someone for showing interest in them !
I mean , "this is really good"!
OMGoodness, how fantastic was this... sharing with all my friends - thsnks.
I loved every bit of this video these kids were great good job everyone
Completely Awesome!
Hi, Need to hook up speakers! but will enjoy as love Christmas Carols!
Uncle Art
Love this, that bass singer hits some seriously deep notes....
These guys rock. I sing bass in a quartet called Holy City from Charleston, SC and I fell on the floor laughing at this. Would love to take them on the road with us.
Great performance by the kids! They sound exactly like J.D. Sumner and the Stamps quartet! Thanks for the wonderful musical and humorous entertainment!
Well, they were lip-synching.....so yeah.
@@emilyjeffords5907 Oh yes. I certainly knew that! I was being facetious about their sounding like the Stamps . I was sincere about the entertainment.
I want to see another one. I don't know why I like this so much. You know what is comming but it is still entertaining.
this is the best ever!
This had the tears of laughter rolling down my cheeks throughout the whole video. Even if you're not a die-hard "fan" of gospel male quartets, as I am, I think you will see that they have all the moves down pat...and the bass "singer" is an absolute riot! WELL DONE, boys!!! You have made my Christmas!
oh yes he did
I love this quartet! Enjoy!
oh my gosh.. i cried so hard.. LOVED it!!!
Awesome!!! I am wanting to do this with some boys in our church this year. Need this track just like this where the boy sings the one part "accidents"... How can I find that? Thank you!
I have shared this many times over the years. I've always wished I knew who the voices behind the show are. That bass is awesome.
JD Sumner and the Stamps Quartet
@Pat Blankenship Thank you, I was curious too!
Och, aye now this was one o the few things worth watching. I canna imagine the laddie hittin' those bass notes.
This is great. Very entertaining.Love it!!
I love this! Would the edited audio be available to purchase?
Love it! Such joy!
j.D would get a chuckle at this for sure....
Love this! I think JD would’ve also.
These guys performed at my church back in 2002-ish. So, so funny! I wonder what they’re doing now.
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. LOL
Many thanks.
Ain't that something!!! Good job guys!!!!
Better and more entertaining than any kareoke I've heard.
This is just great. They are doing a good job of making everyone think they are really singing. The put a lot of work into that song.
What an admiration. Big ups'.
This song was originally sang by J.D. Sumler and the Stamps Quartet.
I LOVE THIS. MY KIND OF MUSIC
that is just tooo cute... loved it!!
Great one... Happy New year and Thank You..
