    +Arief Roslan O can't recall exactly, if not mistaken, MYR 100 just for the run (no tuning).

    Cool I'm after doing the same thing in the UK, spoke to sc projects about the CrT and wanting a link to remove the pre chamber but they are saying it can't be done, so the zx10r works fine

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually it can be done.. At your local exhaust specialist, or if you know anyone that does stainless steel welding. But yeah, a lot of the 6R guys basically just whack in the 10R model one since it comes with the link pipe.
      Enjoy your exhaust! :)

    I don't like the smashing part. It could loosen the gaskets and the nuts on the headers.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's why they loosen the header before performing the smashing part. One guy is bracing/supporting the header while the other is hulk-smashing the pipe into position.

    how much does sc premium charge for dyno?

  • @Formula1NSX
    @Formula1NSX 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow, Another awesome video??!! So this exhaust basically bolted on? YOu know by any chance if it'll work on the 2013 model of the ZX6R?

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should fit the same for the 2013.

    i want to do the same thing, but what year of 10r model that the exhaust can fit to 6r? when you buy the slip-on sc project for 10r is it included with the link pipe or you buy it separately?

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's for 2010 ZX-10R can fit the 6R. For the ZX10R it comes as a full set along with the link pipe.

  • @Spang0G
    @Spang0G 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    this is an Zx6r model 2009-2012 but the exhaust for what year of zx10r is this ?
    I wanna do the same !

  • @paulburks2455
    @paulburks2455 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why does it need welding.? Thought I would be a direct fit? Do you need to weld it then?

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I meant for the 6R model version you could fabricate a stainless steel mid/link pipe if you wanted to, but since the 10R can be fitted might as well go with that.

  • @2wheelsamurai482
    @2wheelsamurai482 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey, did you remove the prechamber? and if you did what mid pipe did you use? also will the zx6r crt exhaust sound the same or will it be different?

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      This CRT model is taken from the ZX10R line, because for ZX10R it comes with the link pipe together. Check out the model K11-T38C @ 0:40

      +TheSighBored did you force it through the gasket ? or did it fit into the gasket? im trying to install mine but the pipe doesnt fit..

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they had to some force to make it fit together with the gasket.

    hai thesighbored
    can you share the detail
    how much is the exhaust includes installation charge and the dyno
    thx u. is that ori exhaust

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the exhaust is original (very rare for imitations to be titanium), the exhaust was free as part of the bike purchase deal, I don't know the exact price for it, more than MYR 2k, installation usually free when purchase exhaust. The dyno run was free too. Normal walk-in dyno run (no tune) is MYR 100.

    is a Crt Almost a straight pipe ??? its too tooo loud on Zx10r gen4 and 5

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Almost.. Yes I guess. It's stated for race use only if not mistaken, so it was not designed for street, but nobody cares and use it as they please anyway. :)

    Did you guys use a gasket on the link pipe, or did you guys install it without a gasket. Dam link pipe seems tight?

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      For this install the original exhaust gasket was re-used. It is recommended to use a thinner walled gasket. The header pipe edges were flared open a bit to ease the link pipe in, and later tapped back into original position.
      Yes, it is VERY tight.

    • @PeteyPablo408
      @PeteyPablo408 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheSighBored Dam I just installed a SC-Project GP M2 slip on and There was No way I could use the Old or New Gasket at all. I installed it without the gasket and still had to use a block of wood to hit it a bit in place. :( I'll have to look into finding a thinner gasket Not sure what applications to ask for .

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For GP M2 I'm not sure if it needs the gasket, maybe try checking with SC Project if the gasket is needed?

      TheSighBored
      I contacted Another Dealer from the SC-Project website and they responded with this "Dear customer, yes of course you have to fit it without.
      Please let us know.
      Regards"
      It sounds like the Authorized dealer at motovationusa doesn't really know The SC-Project product very well. Thanks for you're response.

    • @thesighbored

      My friend is really pleased with it. Sounds beastly, looks badass, and the chart shows gains just as slip-on, no tuning done at this time.

    • @thesighbored
      @thesighbored  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      This was at SC Premium Bikes in Sunway, I don't think it will be that suitable for a 200, the pipe diameter may be too large for it.

      There were some fitment issues since it was for the 10R.
