Been here twice! Too and from Nongkhai. Landed in Udonthani, from there by car.

Were the kiosks and desks actually open by the time u arrived? I'm wondering if money exchange/wifi/transpo kiosks are open late at night and if not, until what time...

I am an Indian. I would be transiting through Don Mueang airport for 4hrs and would be going to Cambodia. I will be coming to Bangkok in Thai Lion Air and would be going to Cambodia in Thai Air Asia. I won't be having any check in baggage but would need to collect Boarding pass from DMK. Similarly while returning back to India from Cambodia I will be transiting through DMK for 7 hrs. Will I need Thai transit visa?

For Indian Citizens Thailand requires a visa which you can get upon arrival that costs 2000 baht. You said youre flying to Cambodia with Thailand as a transit stop. If both flights are on the same booking then no need for visa in Thailand. Less than 12 hours in transit requires no visa. However if you booked a flight to Bangkok where you would pick up your bags in Bangkok then booked a separate flight to Bangkok you would likely need a visa to get through immigration to retrieve your bags, or possibly even book your next flight. If its all on 1 flight booking you should have no problems. Hope this was helpful to you

Hi, do i need to get to immigration before entering Bangkok? I have 16 hrs layover before my flight going to India. I am from Philippines and we are visa free.

@@joanatorres8617 If it is already in the flight probably no need. You could do it to be safe

Often times people need a visa if their layover in transit exceeds 12 hours. However for Philippines citizens Thailand is visa free so I would not worry about Thailand. Looks like you need a visa for India though. Hope you have that processed and ready

Hi, i have 1.5 hours layover at this airport. I will be travelling to Bali from here. Is the layover enough and do i need transit visa.
I am coming from india. Thanks

For transit you should not need a visa if youre not proceeding past immigration. Youre technically not officially entering Thailand. Also 1.5 hours is certainly not enough time to go anywhere in Bangkok. At best you might stop at coffee shop at DMK airport before boarding your flight to Bali
