Woodturning by Spinfield Turners: Crown mini texturing tool. Replacement bearing hack

My crown mini texturing tool's brass bearing shaft was seriously worn out and eroded. Given the hard metal of the cogs, it's not really surprising. What is surprising though is that I couldn't find a replacement advertised by Crown anywhere. So I tried my hand at making a replacement...
STOP PRESS. Those very nice people at Crown heard about my plight and very kindly sent me a new brass bearing. The first time they had ever heard of this happening apparently!. Nice to be special I suppose...
