I absolutely agree with your analysis on black women capping for black men. They lower their standard just to date or be accepted by black men with red flags and toxic characteristics. These are years of taught behaviour from society and still enforced in some homes & families, women have been forced and encouraged to live by low standards. So now it requires women unlearning this toxic subtle behaviours, in other to make right decisions when it comes to choosing the right life partner for themselves.

I think Selena Gomez is proving that if love is not blind, beauty is at least in the eye of the beholder. As a single woman, I would want someone to disclose if they had a child immediately, I'd find it dishonest not to mention that. However, I understand why single mothers would be hesitant.

Love is not Blind, should not be blind and has never been blind. The concept of mareaige was for the point of financial security and advancement. This was the same even before society was a concept and wealth was based on a man's ability to hint and a woman's ability to gather and thus securing a the beat possible match is ideal. Today its practically the same but on steroids. People on Love is Blind are all mainly stereotypically attractive and ao most of them just dont worry about that,however you cant force physical chemistry and thats a fact. Next I personally dont ever see myself with a person who can't culturally relate to me and thats the same for most people aine a majority of people date within their racual, socioeconomic and educational bachrounds. When watching LIB you notice all those three factors are mainly controlled for, with a few random people thrown into the mix,the show is inherently deaigned to increase compatibility and so the name of the ahow makes me laugh.😂
