We truly do not know the real consequence of having love children. Beyond cultural shame we face, there is more to it and i feel that the conversation on this topic should be talked about in Nigeria…. we are still ignorant of how best to manage and strive through it because its a lifetime commitment whether we like it or not. From my personal experience of having a love child after separation and going back to my husband i will tell you for free its a mess u wouldn’t want to indulge intentionally if you care so much about your life.
I honestly do not recommend it to anyone.
Having kids with your legal spouse is above all the best bet.
And if u need to be a single mom so bad try adoption

I love how you analyzed. I remember dating a guy and I later realized he was about getting married to an Igbo girl and he claimed it was an arranged marriage 😂 currently I’m married to an Anambra man that had a fight with his dad and openly told him if he won’t attend his marriage in Akwa-Ibom he will pay someone to play the role for him on that day, surprisingly my father-in-law showed up with his people with extra buses and we are very close now🤣
Wo! When a man wants you, nothing can stop him and that’s PERIOD 😂😂😂

Has Queen stated that lord lamba will not be in the childs life? The chiñdren look for thier fathers but recognize the fact thst, they have two dads, sometimes step dads are even more appreciated that biological dads, the children value the daddy that actually raise them up, than the one that only impregnated thier mums or was a sperm donnor, in cases where biological dads and step dads did a great job in the childs upbringing. The child balances up well and ends up appreciting both dads, remember, the child will grow up from being a child to an adult, and can trully appreciate who was a proper or better dad. Trust me being a good dad is more than just impregnating a lady.

Ladies, please don’t beat yourself up. We all find ourselves in a crazy situation sometimes. Mistakes happen and sometimes people are so good at pretending to be who they are not. Not every man leaves red flags around.
You have a child right? You no longer love the man or he doesn’t treat you well or maybe you finally saw him under the veil, is okay.
Don’t ever stay with such a person because it seems like an easier option.
Lucky for me I had a child with a good man not perfect. It didn’t work out and I moved on. I am happy and treated so well.
We are at peace but if you are in the same space as me, I pray for you. Trust me everything will be okay but never stay with someone you no longer love all in the name of Child.

This is because I am naturally attracted to intelligent/analytical people (I think they call it being "sapiosexual" or something). In a generation where people are encouraged to be overly emotional and often rewarded for being so, it is not very common to see people who reason and analyse things with evidence , line upon line

Ada you're 100% correct about that Anambra issue, I am 100% Anambra and I always feel pity for any lady that falls for that LAMBA because I know the truth that it's an easy use and dump excuse. In as much as Anambra parents are tough nuts to crack, they absolutely accord huge respect to their sons for the most part, and seem to be tougher on the daughters in terms of marrying outside of the state, but even at that I still married outside the state, together with my sister, haha

    • @GensCanadaJourney
      @GensCanadaJourney 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

And on the issue of Igbo tradition regarding 'ownership* of a child, people are getting it very wrong. The Correct culture in Igbo traditions says that if a lady gives birth to a child while still in her father's house i.e. unmarried, the child belongs to the parents of the lady, until the man comes to do the rites and marry her. If the lady decided to marry someone else, the child still belongs to the parents until they can speak for themselves/reach age of consent. The new father can only play the role of step father unless they decide to go for a legal adoption, which the parents still have to consent to as the original legal guardians of the child. That being said, the question is who keeps to these rules these days?

Well as for the Anambra topic, I’ll be proud to say that I am dating a guy from Anambra state and I myself I’m not IGBO, Nor am I even NIGERIAN! I’m not Nigerian nor am I Igbo but he cares and genuinely like me for who I am! Even tho he says if I was Nigerian I would fit for an Igbo girl 🥰 but I am mixed My dad is African American mixed with Liberian and Caribbean and my mom is Mailian mixed with Liberian so I am a mixed mud….and I’m here dating a Nigerian which by the way My 3 only boyfriends I’ve ever had were all Nigerian’s two of them Igbo! So I agree my parents married each other and they were from different backgrounds so If a person loves you and want you they will go beyond to have you!

One will meet a guy and while trying to know on the surface level why their past relationship didn't work only to hear that the girl was from another tribe and his people didn't support it and I am like did you not know her tribe before toasting her ehhhh and you are here sounding heartbroken.

After getting to hear from the guy, i don't blame him biko. His reasons are valid.
The only person I have a problem with is this story is his mother, if that story about her is actually true, she's w!cked.
I hope queen stops seeking social media validation, wondered why the engagement happened twice and she was acting surprised the second time, to me, it's probably because the first wasn't "social media worthy", and the rest of the put up, it's not necessary.
I'm happy for her, I just hope she and her husband to be focus on themselves without having to seek SM validation.

I'm confused. Is he trying to make the argument that a child would be better off with a single philandering father, who may or may not live with or close to his mother who doesn't like the mother of his child and doesn't acknowledge the child, than with the child's mum who looks after her and who is also about to marry a dude who is choosing her mother knowing that she comes with a kid he will also have to care for?
