The competition in the $20 -$350 price bracket is insane at the minute, it seems new iems are being released every other day, there's huge hype surrounding the truthears hexa at minute, it's supposed to sound like the moondrop blessing 2, the best single DD under $200 I would say is the seek real airship, I'm a big fan of tangzu though, I love my zeitian wus they are excellent
Hi thanks for your review I purchased the Waner SG after watching this and I agree Its not often you get tuning like that for the price, I hope KZ will take note...V shaped is not the only sound signature
Yeah I was debating between the two and decided on these because they are more ‘fun’ sounding. I also thought these looked a tad bit cooler although the salnotes in blue are really nice Iems. Why not get both? It’s honestly a lovely pair to own together. I am still planning on the salnotes for a more neutral sound.
These are fantastic. Amazing sound for 20 dollars. I regret spending more money now. 🤣 almost. I still love my collection. I broke into this hobby at the right time. It's the golden age.
@@VortexReviews1 I'm using a wire called Black Cat for these. It's Zinc copper alloy soaked in oil (literally snake oil) 🤣on Aliexpress. It retails 79 dollars. I got it on sale 14 dollars. I have to say the tiny coloring of sound qualities it gives to Waner is nothing less than stellar for a wire. These are a expensive IEM with that wire. Well. It is a expensive wire I guess but well worth it if a sale happens again.
@@VortexReviews1 yeah I was surprised at its sale price. I had to grab it. See what the big deal was. I have to say it's pretty nice sound wise. I bought another one too it's coming in. Same kinda sale for a XINNs wire. Hopefully that ones nice too.
Thanks for the review. I'm pretty new to IEMs so I don't really know how to differentiate the different cable connector types. I just bought these IEMs and I'm not sure what kind of cable to get for it. The pins on the cable look recessed so I thought it was QDC type but I want to be 100% sure. Can someone educate me on the different types of connectors for IEMs, and which type I should look at for the Wan'ers? Also, what is a good budget cable with mic that you would recommend?
Another budget winner! 👌 And this one is better accessorised than the KZs at this price point. Which is great to see! Do these sound similar to 7hz Zero, but with a little more base I guess!? Thank you for another great review👍👍
I'm fairly new to IEM stuff and was wondering if this is good for FPS games and casual listening to music (Pop music mostly). I'm currently looking at Waner, 7hz Zero or QKZ x HBB. Any comment is appreciated
@@raja7775 So far I'd say I'm satisfied with my Waner. Although when playing FPS games sometimes I have trouble knowing if the enemy is closer or farther away, but since I know the general location through the sound it's still playable. I prefer using this when playing adventure games tho
how it compare with qkz x hbb in terms of the diferrence of tbass or low end ? btw i came from tanya but i need impact in bass mainly sub bass and open air in the midrange and recently i only hear lofi and edm , but very sometimes group vocal , i need move to wanner or qkz x hbb ?
Are those red yellow white and black tips, Spinfits brand? They look more premium than the other tips which would make sense if they are spinfits… anybody know?
In fact most neutral 1dd under $100 fails on that aspect (there's always that typical single peak on their treble). Both Aria version, Dunu Titan S/Kima, Tripowin Olina/SE/Lea, Heart Mirror Pro, Tin T2 DLC and etc that i forgot.
All these 10mm drivers on current $20 hypes are probably the same. I pulled out my Zex Pro to compare with 7hz Zero and I don't feel one is technically superior to other, just the tuning, which I fix with EQ then they're about equal.
Hello do hybrids make single Dad's irrelevant considering you have the one driver doing all the work which is not the case with a hybrid resulting in a better soundstage ?

Indeed and thanks for the trust.
The packaging, albeit simple, is gorgeous. Almost wish I had purchased this over the Salnotes Zero, even if they’re quite similar.
Zero is still a nice set so don't worry.

Now that's a great tuning.... I wish the CCA CXS has that tuning to fit it's elegant design
CXS has the normal KZ / CCA tuning.

Probably not better just different and thanks very much!
straight to the point as always 🙌
Thanks Nicolas.
I first read it as "Tangzu Wanker" lol.

They are quite different to be honest. The HBB is a EDM beast with that low end.

Does these have good clarity and vocals? And also under 80, will this be better for vocals? I actually need an iem for good vocals mainly.
I would say they have good clarity and vocals.
How about a comparison between KZ ZVX and Tangzu Wan’er?

Hi guys, compare this to Shure 215... Which is better?
Not tried the 215 but the Waner is nice for the price.
7hz zero n waner which is best neutral sound and good sound stage
Zero has the least bass so sounds more neutral. Stage from memory is similar.

There are pro's and con's but Hybrids are hard to tune from what I have seen then use the DD just for low which has a better slam than BA bass.

They should be fine for that.
How the fitting? Is it comfortable for small ears?
I found the comfort good and I would say I have average size ears.

How is this compared to CCA CRA+?
CRA+ is more bassy but more fatiguing.
How does perform compared to Qkz x Hbb?
